What can you say about Walgreens? This was nice because I walked in looking for sunscreen and an employee immediately asked me how she could help me. She then took me to see the massive selection of various sunscreens. That was helpful.

This place is horrendous. It took almost 3 weeks to get a prescription filled because of their lies and ineptness. I called for 2 refills on a Thursday afternoon. On Saturday I went to pick them up. I was told one needed authorization from my Dr, the other was being filled elsewhere and shipped to them, but would be there on Monday. After checking with my Drs office, I went on Monday to pick up again. This time I was given one, but again told they did not have authorization for the other. When I said I had confirmed with the Dr, they changed the story to say they didnt have the med in stock because of shortage. I called every 3 days for two weeks to check on availability of the med. Finally on Friday I was told they had it in stock but now needed authorization again because "if it sits in the system for more than a few days it is booted out." I again contacted my Dr, get authorization sent in, but heard nothing from Walgreens. Today I called to find out if it had been filled and was told yes. I arrive and wait at the window for 20 minutes while people inside are helped, some of which I watched walk to the counter while I went unserved.
I am lucky I could go 18 days without this medicine. If you need something badly though, I suggest you find another pharmacy.

Ever since they changed store managers this Walgreens has turned around. It used to be so dirty and disorganized. Even the workers themselves seem better. I don't know if it's the same crew, but they are much more polite, attentive, and courteous. I met their manager once I believe her name is Caitlin or Kathleen. But she was literally the nicest and most beautiful woman I have ever seen. She was very helpful and professional. I wish they would send her over to DFW area. They need better Walgreens managers out this way. 10/10 I would recommend her and this Walgreens over any in Texas.

My recent experience at Walgreens was disappointing due to unprofessional behavior exhibited by some employees. The lack of professionalism impacted the quality of service I received. I was told my prescription was ready so I drove up to the drive thru to pick it up. When I got to the window, they informed me they had not ran it through my insurance yet (what?) and to circle around one time and I should be good to go. I proceeded to circle around, got back up to the window and they had pulled the sign down and locked up to go to lunch. It literally took me 1 min max to drive around. 100% unprofessional! They should have told me they were going to lunch. Or held off for 5 seconds after they told me to drive around. I mean I can’t make this stuff up! I hope Walgreens addresses this issue to maintain a positive and customer-friendly environment. Hire some new help! These pharmacy workers are a joke!

Nice and convenient Walgreens next to a lot of other shopping centers and restaurants and right next to Stuart Beach. The parking lot is very spacious and had a lot of empty spaces when I came in the middle of the day during the week. There is also a pharmacy drive-through that has two lanes. This store is well-maintained and clean throughout, and it is also well organized. There's also a photo station. They also had a lot of deals and valentines items for preparation for the holidays! the cashiers were very nice and welcoming, and they also greeted me when I walked through the door. Perfect place to pick up any emergency things for parties, celebrations, and home items!

Stopped by to get some household items and had a great experience. The cashier greeted us nicely as we walked inside the front door! There were a ton of holiday items on sale, as well as items for the upcoming holidays! I was amazed at the extremely cheap sparkling juice for 80 cents.

Walgreens is a drugstore chain with products from a-z available at a mini mart. It also helps other business ensuring the demand and supply chain management of customers, retailers are balanced.

I'm tired of homeless people hitting me up for cigarettes and money hanging around front door. Not scared, just over it. Nice store in process of remodeling. Only one around also that's 24 hours.

HORRIBLE. We have a standing prescription for our daughters epilepsy medication and this store Constantly calls us to come pick up medication that they refuse to keep in stock. Just got there to pick up the meds I was told to come get over the phone, get there and told there’s nothing in stock but the computer says it’s ready for me. The pharmacists here have zero clue what they are doing. Big fail for Galveston island not having any other choices for a pharmacy.

Find the store manager to be very disrespectful of senior citizens. Staff helpful I will say yet the manager projects a uncaring domination stance when questioned about store policies without me the customer being granted a voice....just cut off of any given conversation regarding the social impact of the ID policy. You lost me as a customer for life. I will now transfer my prescription to a more community focused establishment as well as any future lateral purchases. Walgreens please do not reach out to respond as my position is set in stone.

30-45 minute wait time to pickup a prescription. I sadly have to block out times of the day to come try and get my medication. Some days, the wait can be around an hour to 1.5 hours. Avoid at all costs and go with Express Script.
