Tried to go a couple of times, but it was always closed, including once when it wasn't supposed to be. Dude inside looked at me when I tried to open the door. So I went down the road to Island Bicycle and bought 3 really sweet bikes from Jeff.

Took my bike in last fall to fix an issue with my rear tire rubbing against the frame. Charged me $35 dollars to tighten the wheel onto the frame (which I’ve done a thousand times) and returned it to me as “fixed”. Bike showed the same issues from before while riding it the second time after getting it back (first ride was short so issue didn’t have time to present itself). They didn’t say a word about the “repair” when I paid them (or really at all honestly) but it looked fine in the store so I left. I’m leaving a review months later because I couldn’t let it go and it bothers me that they charged me for this bogus repair.

Guy is definitely old school so if you think you are going to stop by make sure you call and see what time they are open till because it isn't what they list @ 5p. lol. I had them repair a back wheel for a very old bike. It's fixed but not perfect, good enough though. Dude is a bit rough with customers so if your a sensitive type check your feelings at the door. All in all I would go back. Good service, on time, reasonably priced.

Took my bike in for a tune up. Two days later which was agreed to it was not only ready but I can’t remember my bike riding and shifting so smooth! They did a great job for a fair price. Based on my experience I would recommend this shop to anyone.

Bought my first bicycle there in 1966. Over the years I've stopped in to buy odds and ends from Brian and have always had a great time. Bought another bike there a few years back and never had any problems with it. Galvestonians all the way!!!

Called ahead to see if they replaced inner tubes for my bike. Got there 10 min later they closed shop. The sign on the door says it closes at 5. It was barely 4 when we arrived. I’ll continue to take my bike closer to Houston for repairs. Better customer service.

I couldn't be happier with the results of my visit to West End Cycle Company earlier today. I brought in my 10 year-old clunker and some parts I had just bought in hopes that they could help me find the pieces I was still lacking, and get it riding again.
