We were greeted by the most fun & cheery people who I believe were siblings. They were so helpful with helping us find things and giving advice on how to save money too!
We left there with what we hoped to find!

“It was a late Wednesday afternoon. I had just gotten off work from the briefcase factory. After non-stop meetings about our sales being down due to no one needing a briefcase, I decided to indulge myself. I asked Bing where the closest liquor store was. To my surprise there were a few close by. My personal driver suggested a place called Specs. Off we went. Once we arrived, I was instantly hit with the lovely smell of low quality Halloween decorations. God bless Hob Lob. Once finally in the store, I was greeted by a lovely man. Good build. Long hair. I inquired about some sweet wine that I can drink until I can’t feel my uncomfortable dress shoes. This man took me into a dream describing how every note of each wine is its own symphony. I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who’s in love with their job, but it’s this man. Give him a raise. Give him the store. Give him the keys to the company. Michael. You are amazing. Not everyone can become a great artist; but a great artist *can* come from *anywhere*. It is difficult to imagine more humble origins than those of the genius now working at Spec’s, who is, in this critic's opinion, nothing less than the finest manager in Texas. I will be returning to Spec's soon, thirsty for more.”

“I come here regularly because the owner is a very sweet and patient woman and I feel right at home every time I come in. The selection is also really wide for the size of the shop. I have always preferred smaller stores because of the ease of getting in and out quickly, but when I come here I know there won't just be the regular stuff, but a whole range of interesting and exciting choices. Also, I know I'm safe when I come here, and that's not something I take for granted.”

“Awesome store!! I don't even live in San Antonio but if I ever visit, I will be buying liquor from this store. I bought a gift for a lady friend and used Drizly as the service. I purchased the champagne from Spec's and they handled it like true professionals. I spoke to Greg and he was very accommodating and quick to respond. I had made a couple of errors on the gift and needed to make the changes in a timely manner. He took care of it and everything worked out just fine. I highly recommend the service of Spec's in San Antonio. I look forward to stopping by very soon. Thank you and best of luck.”

“This store is great. The owner takes a personal interest in the customers and makes great recommendations. You could walk in and buy the “name brand” liquor but the owner takes the time to show you the better products from lesser known brands that are both better and a great value. I have never regretted taking his advice. I have never been to a store where I see that the owner takes such a positive vested interest. Great experience!”
“It's a nicely stocked store. Easy to find merchandise, and really only busy at nights and weekends. Also carry accessories (drink mixes, cups, sodas, and juices). Don't think they carry too many high end liquors though ; just the obvious ones.”
