Do not take your car to Broadway Auto Repair in Garland, TX.
The manager, Erik, is completely unsympathetic and dismissive, and the technician, Ruben, was extremely rude and disrespectful—not just toward me, but toward women in general.
I brought my daughter’s car in for a part replacement. From the start, their attitude was rude, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I paid upfront for the part they ordered, but they never communicated when it arrived—I had to keep calling just to get updates. After waiting 3–4 days, they finally received the part. I dropped the car off early in the morning as instructed and was promised same-day service. Again, no communication. I didn’t get the car back until the following evening.
Ruben claimed the car was safe to drive—even though my daughter has a baby she drives around with. Yet the car was still having issues. I took it to another shop for a second opinion, and they confirmed the exact same part still needed replacement. When I called Broadway Auto Repair about it, they refused to take responsibility and said I’d have to pay another labor fee for them to fix their mistake.
This shop uses cheap parts, overcharges, and takes no accountability for their work. Erik offered no help whatsoever and insisted they weren’t liable. What a joke.
Save your time, money, and frustration—avoid this place at all costs. They are unprofessional, dishonest, and completely unreliable. You’ve been warned.

A part they replaced went out less than 6 months after installing and when we took the car back to be checked they charged $85 diagnostic fee and said they couldn't fix the problem. Had to take to another shop and pay another $900 to replace the same part an oil filter housing.

I get my car insurance here and all my maintenance done here. Ive trusted the mechanics for a long time and had my Versa for 9 years, they only worked on it. I ended up selling it to him to put on the lot here.

Friend of mine went here for an oil change and an inspection (cost a little over $200). Apparently they didn't tighten the drain bolt so the car was steadily leaking oil when she got home in her garage. She returned to the shop the next day and the shop said they wanted her to pay them $75 just to find out what the source of the leak (like a diagnostic fee), and then plus the cost of labor to fix the leak. She is not one to argue with people and instead she ended up going to some other shop near by and they showed her how loose the drain bolt actually was. That shop tightened the bolt and they even topped off the oil for her at no cost simply because they felt sorry for her experience with the Broadway Auto Repair shop. Only posting her experience on her behalf, but Broadway Auto Repair should be ashamed of this kind of behavior. I will actively advise people in the area to avoid this shop.

Absolutely horrible!!!! My husband's vehicle is still not repaired right after this shop being paid. I'm so angry, but God's going to repay. You can't mess over God's people and think HE won't intervene.

NOT Trustworthy.
Lower crust of society individuals that pass along their credit/debit card processing fees to customers. We witnessed them this evening blatantly lie to a young man that his debit card requires a processing fees that he must pay. The father jumped in and said it wasn't true, unfortunately the young man had already pressed the button to pay the processing fee. The company refused to refund the processing fee to the young man.
I truly feel for anyone that utilizes this location. If they will lie; they will cheat. Unfortunately, this company is what gives used car sales and repair a bad name.
Lastly, I wouldn't believe the positive reviews, they are probably from a paid service to mask the negative reviews.

Worst customer service, called them before going in and they told me to take my car that they would check it so i went and nobody even looked at me, went in the office there was nobody there, nobody in the shop tried to even ask me what was wrong with my car. Do better if you wanna call yourselves “Professional Mechanics”
