This store has a change of store manager at the beginning of February 2024. The manager is trying really hard to get the store in better shape and dealing with the all of the customers complaints. Please give her the support to make this store successful.

Me, my wife, and mother in law entered this store on 10/21/23. I had my backpack on and didnt wanna be accused of stealing so I asked the cashier could I leave it at the front. She said something in a rude manner which I couldnt hear because im hard of hearing so I asked her again. She rudely said “ON THE ICE, ON THE ICE” and motioned her hands as if I was aggravating her. Anyone could have stolen my backpack off the ice machine, I thought thwy put your backpack behind the counter, but I digress. I put my backpack on the ice machine because the isle we were headed to I could see it from there. By that time my wife had gotten upset because of her rudeness. We then go to get in the line and we saw people getting in her and she rudely said “DONT COME IN MY LINE IM CLOSED” so my wife and mother in law said “WHY IS YOUR LIGHT ON IF YOU’RE CLOSED? TURN IT OFF SO PEOPLE WOULD KNOW” she got an even nastier attitude complaining LOUDLY about her being at work since 5am and her needing a smoke break. She start fussing at the other cashier telling her to hurry up and that other cashier started crying at the register while still ringing us up. My wife and mother in law were telling her dont cry she’s doing a great job. The lady behind us put her item back, shook her head and left. The rude cashier was arguing loudly back and forth with my wife and mother in law to th point she went to the i guess break room on the side and came back out which I can only assume she went to get a weapon or mace. When she came back out everything was quiet because the arguing was just to much and irrelevant. The cashier came out and said “OH YALL QUIET NOW” like literally trying to start up drama and thats when I KNEW she got something out the little break room because she started talking extra greasy trying to provoke my wife and mother in law. Which they asked for management and she started laughing. As we were leaving my wife and mother in law again told the cashier who was ringing us up that it was okay and she doing a good job. To which the rude cashier looked at the crying cashier and said “you okay” in a smug making fun of her kind of way. So we’re walking out and the rude cashier tells my wife “WHERE’S YOUR NECK, DID YOU FIND YOUR NECK YET” which she only said because my wife is plus size but she has a neck and my wife is beautiful so thats the only thing the heifer could say. We left and wont be returning. The customers where so uncomfortable the whole time. The people the rude cashier was checking out she was talking loud and rude and trying to laugh and crack jokes about my wife while checking them out and they were uncomfortable but giggling I guess they didnt want to get into it with her. Whoever that cashier is that was on the register by the door with braids FIRE HER because ALOT of customers walked out that day and I’m sure dollar tree has cameras so please roll the cameras and you will see everything im saying was facts. I’ve never encountered a rude a employee like that in my life. We will never be back to that dirty ghetto unprofessional store!

This store on a saturday had one cashier i guess the only emplyee i saw boxes stacked every where carts full of boxes to be stocked were on every isle. out of four stores in the garland tx north east dallas tx mesquite tx area this store at 1202 centervilleroad garland tx is the worst ive seen .empty shelves every where.the general manager of this district needs to be replaced. The company should take one employee from each local store pick one night of the week all tje management teams from every local store meet up at this store and have a massive night of stocking this srore up and fixing the empty sheves thank you

This is an above average dollar tree. Decently shelved, decent customer service I would have given 4 stars if they had green baskets!

This is the WORST Dollar Tree my wife and I have ever been to. The isles were very dirty and disarray. There were boxes everywhere, and the shelves were completely unorganized. We even heard the cashier announce to everyone to stop putting items in the backpack. We saw a lot of individuals not doing the right thing there and we mean stealing. This store needs to be closed or new management. Will NOT be coming to this location anymore.
