They should bring back call in orders. Its hard to order online while driving home. Also if you can talk to someone they can tell you if the kitchen is behind.

Good Mexican food in a great setting. They did not skimp on the fillings. My wife's cheese enchilada was bursting with cheese. My chimi was equally well filled with fajita meat. I cheated with a combination regular and white cheese queso. A bit spicier than usual, but boy, it was good. The staff were efficient and friendly the way we like it to be.We will be back. And we have been back several times and the food has been consistently good. The chili relleno was a gooey mess after I broke it open and the cheese oozed out. But boy, it was good. My wife went for the fajita nachos. I have no idea how good they were since she would not give me any. When construction in downtown Garland is finished parking will be much less of an issue but it is not too bad right now. You will have to park a city block away (try heading north-east). It is well worth it.9/1/23 progress on the roads is mostly finifhed so parking is a lot better. The restaurant is doing a little remodeling to the outside and to the dining area, but it does not interfere with the dining experience. The charm of the old building definitely is still there. Food is still excellent2/24/24 No real changes to the restaurant except for the big TVs above the front windows. They really are not needed and do detract from the ambiance of the old building. But with the new park in full swing, the people watching is much better and the neighborhood is much improved. Parking is much better.

I had a delicious Grilled Chile Relleno with queso blanco and brisket. The beans and rice were good and the guacamole and pico de gallo were above par. Chips and salsa were good too. The atmosphere is casual, but nice. I look forward to trying some of the other Dos Banderas specialties.

Twice in a row we experienced stale chips and not so great food(my flautas were burned) so we took a break for almost a month. We revisited twice now since and Dos Banderas is back on their game. Chips and salsa is hot and fresh, portion sizes are back to satisfactory, and well, we've never had an issue with staff. They have always been welcoming, and attentive to us. Dos has always been our favorite place to go, and I'm glad whatever happened those two times, they have gone above and beyond to make right. Now, all that's missing is menudo on their weekend menu to make this place our numero uno!

Great place to hang out, get some good grub, and have margarita. The staff are helpful and courteous. Kudos to Travis the bartender for his exceptional service.

Great food and staff, it was loud as there was a lot of people there and no sound barriers.

I visited during lunch last week, during primetime. Despite the busy hour, their bartender, Ram, didn’t miss a beat! He was very attentive and kind. I had the poblano soup with added shredded chicken and “The Flaco” with the tilapia and veggies and it was great ??

We've been several times and it's always good food. Chips n salsa and queso are always good too. I had the Carne Guisada plate, everyone makes it so different but it was good.

Would highly recommend somewhere else. Worst enchiladas I’ve had.
