I want to give a shoutout to Nate and Stephanie for their assistance with buying a couple of tool chests recently. I picked up the wrong one and when I came back to the store for the correct model, Nate already had the right one pulled and then Stephanie helped me with getting the 2nd one. They both were very kind (despite my frustrations in the return trip) and I'm grateful to both employees for their help and kind attitudes!
I also noticed another employee, I believe his name was Miguel, who was literally RUNNING to help people when he saw they had a need. Excellent customer service!

Placed an order online for an item that was not in stock, so they had to ship it to the store. I waited a week till I got the confirmation which was fine. When I went to pick up the item they had completely fulfilled the order with the wrong item. One that was significantly cheaper. I went to the store and asked if I could get what I ordered and what I paid for and the associates and managers kept saying that online is different from in store purchases and that they could not do anything except refund my order. Quick to take my money but slow to give it back. It is what it is, can't blame the tree that grew on rotten soil.

My parents just relocated to N Texas and went to the firewheel home depot location to buy a new fridge for a home they just purchased. Immediately after install by Home Depot had problems with it freezing up. Called Home Depot, had an employee out and a service tech from the fridge manufacturer. Each put blame on the other, after numerous calls to Home Depot, calls to the manager my parents pushing 80 and my disabled vet father have driven to the store to get a resolve. 3 weeks later and they are still waiting for an answer!!!! What has happened to customer service! Me and my family are relocating to firewheel area of garland and when we arrive we will be shopping for our appliances at Lowe’s!!!!

Outstanding customer service. I shopped several departments within the location and was helped in each department with hospitality and respect. Austin, from your paint department especially stood out. He went out of his way to find what I was looking for. I needed a specific brand and color that HD doesn't stock. He helped me find a local vendor that had the product I needed in stock. Even though HD doesn’t offer the product I needed, Austin’s customer service was next level.

Usually come here to shop for my home repair needs.. wasn't until today I felt like I needed to leave a review tho.. was in the self checkout and about 3/4 of the way on thru the checkout the "manager" or "self checkout manager" whoever it was came over to type in her pin. She counted all my items and gave me an attitude that some items were missing.. she made it sound like I was trying to steal something.. as she started counting the items in my cart I guess she realized I wasn't done checking out and erased the whole transaction to do it herself.. she acted like if she didn't do it, it wouldn't be right.. what's the point of having a self checkout if you're going to have an employee harass you while you're checking out? Smh.. not saying I won't come back here, but when I do ill be sure to ask her to ring me up from the beginning lol.. 'iMa jUsT TeL yOu, yOu hAvE mOrE iNn yEr cArT tHaT yOu sCaNeDd" even tho you're not done ?

If you need help, Don't come here! I showed up looking to purchase 5 new toilets and spend $2,000. I asked one guy for help and said "nobody was in plumbing." He said "shocker.. oops did I say that out loud?" Then went to customer service, she called on the intercoms stating I was waiting in isle 30. I waited for 20 minutes.. nobody showed up.
Looks like I'm going to the competitor down the street.

Usually have what I need at a fair price. More associates would be great but other than that I always recommend HomeDepot for just about any home goods needs.
