Do not use Navy Federal. Some back office idiot changed the entire system for account management. Making it ridiculously hard to handle multiple accounts!! What use to take 3 clicks to do now takes 20. Leaving you frustrated, irritated and flat anger that instead OF SEEING EVERYTHING ON ONE PAGE THAT YOU NEED YOU NOW MUST CLICK OVER AND OVER AGAIN TO SEPARATE PAGES WASTING TIME FOR THE INFORMATION TO POPULATE. THE SYSTEM waste the 1 asset irreplaceable TIME!!!!! TERI DUHON

I've been a member of Navy Federal CU for a number of years and most of my transactions have been done via phone or online. But regardless of doing business by phone or in person, I have always...repeat...ALWAYS experienced great customer service. Additionally, I like that their interest rates, on their CDs for example, are always current and generous and that they offer numerous opportunities to really save and grow your money for both short and long term. I also find their online app easy to use. Thanks, people, for making my experiences with Navy very enjoyable.

So I ordered a gift card on September 7, 2021. I was told it would take up to 10 business days. I called them on the 21st to tell them it never came in the mail. They said they could not investigate what happened because they need the card number. How can I give them the card number when I never got it?! So I contacted another department. They said they would open an investigation. Meanwhile, they would give me the 100.00 in my account provisitonally. Here it is Oct 17th. No money in my account and no gift card. I called and they have no note on the case or updates. They claim that they never promised the provisional money either. And that it could take 180 days to investigate!!! 6 months!!! Terrible service and they are incompetent. I will be closing my acct tomorrow.

24/7 service. Excellent banking. People are very sympathetic and helpful. It's nice dealing with humans and not feeling like just a number

I've been banking with this union since boot camp and they have always gone above and beyond what they need to do to accommodate me. Always clean and professional which is something that I love. If you haven't given them a shot I highly recommend that you do. You don't have to be in the military to be a member either.

Today I went to Navy Federal Credit Union to update all my accounts to be in my trust. I was not sure that I would find an account manager that would know how to handle my situation. I only had to wait about 4 minutes when I was called to the desk of Angelina and she knew exactly what I needed. She is so helpful in explaining the required procedures and helping with the forms needed to make the change. It took less than 6 minutes to complete all that was required and most of that time it was Angelina explaining the different ways to do what I wanted. Thank you Navy Federal Credit Union for having trained and efficient employees. Betty from Dallas

The young lady I talked with was India.....a very knowledgeable and great personality lady. Glad she was there to help me. She was able to do background checks and open my eyes to a lot of facts available. THANKS TO INDIA...my NFCU representative.

NFCU was a good place to bank however there is great disparity between what the branch tells you and the reality if their 800 number. We were told one thing about our "oops" account in the branch but the folks at the 800 number did the opposite of that. They took all of our funds out of our accounts and left us penniless unable to pay our Toll tag, put gas in the car to keep my job or ensure we had food in the pantry. The 800 number is heartless and uncaring. It's all about what the "system computer" does and there can be no human intervention. Disgraceful behaviour! Be very careful.

Ina, Angelina and the staff are GREAT. Everyone at Navy Fed really care about you and treat you like a member of the family. When I went to go open my account there they were so nice and very mindful of my time. Everything was done right the first time. I dont go into the branch much since their iPhone app is world class but the handful of times I have been in there they have been great.

My husband and I have been members for many years. We have all of our loans with NFCU except our mortgage. We were so happy with the credit union until just recently when we decided to use them for our mortgage lender. I have not spoken with my loan officer in 5 days(and i am currently in my option period). Prior to finding a house we sent our loan officer everything he would need for underwriting. After finding a home, we send our contract right way,send our homeowners insurance quote and requested that title send over their fees. Everything that was need for an accurate LE he had. We still received a loan estimate with extremely high estimates and not an accurate cash to close amount(a template im sure). After demanding to speak to a supervisor and not a voice mail, i talk to someone who knows nothing about my file :/ i have never been so upset with NFCU. Everything that is needed they have but where is our loan officer??? We will have to back out of this contract tomorrow because our option is up and my officer is still no where to be found. I will only use a local bank next time. Someone i can actually go see
