Primrose Firewheel has been such an amazing school for both my girls! Mr. & Mrs. Lalloobhai have been amazing and are there for the staff and the families whenever needed. The school is always clean and looks put together! My girls love coming every day! I love working here and bringing my kids!

The front staff is very friendly and supportive. They answer all my questions promptly. The teachers all seem very nice and friendly tot he children. My son goes there for breaks during the school year and summers. He is always happy and has lots of fun.

I have held off on this review for a while because I had mixed feelings when we left. But I do feel obligated to write it because I know how much I struggled finding proper care; fawning reviews without specifics have been of limited help to me in my searches for care.
My son went to Primrose of Firewheel for nearly a year and a half. The older infant and young toddler room were both wonderful, and he was so happy to go in every day. Ms. Jasmine, Ms. Ashley and Ms. Googoo are gems, though it looks like Ms. Googoo and Ms. Ashley are not there anymore. This brings me to one of the main problems: there was a lot of changes in the teachers over even the short time we were there. At least once, a new teacher was introduced and then silently disappeared without notice.
When our kid was moved up to the older toddler class, a teacher who had actual training in early childhood education was there, which was a draw keeping us. A few weeks later, she left. Our kid, who had generally been content to explore things on his own, also went through a series of changes around this time where he needed more direction and stimulation, and he began having big feelings. I began to arrive in the afternoon to my kid hysterical. When I would immediately go to comfort him, I’d be given a laundry list of things he had done that were “wrong” (trying the handle to go outside when they were inside, for example) as I was holding my screaming child. To be clear, he was two. These were undesirable but age-appropriate behaviors, but it seemed that the school collectively was not prepared to handle them—I suspect because they were stressed, had limited staff, and no bandwidth.
I left feeling completely overwhelmed, only later feeling anger. This happened twice in just a few weeks, and it felt like my kid was now labeled as a “problem.” I still have the most absurd pile of “incident reports”—a two year old throwing a piece of bark at a teacher constitutes an “incident.” Having worked in a daycare myself, I can say that the vast majority of them were things that me and my former colleagues could have handled quickly. In a meeting with a teacher and a member of leadership, my husband and I were told that he was instructed to punch a wall if he got too mad. Again, he was two. This is not healthy or appropriate, and I still get mad thinking about it.
So I put this here to say that there are good people there to whom I am incredibly grateful for the love they poured into my son (Ms. GooGoo, Ms. Ashely, Ms. Jazmin, you are the best). Ms. Olga was also exceptionally kind, and I was sorry that the larger dynamics were insurmountable. Should you pick this school, be sure to pay attention as your kid moves from class to class and as teachers come and go. And know that it is corporate (currently Roark Capital—the same conglomerate that owns Arby’s). The extra money one pays to go here compared to other local schools doesn’t seem to be invested in the school and retaining the great teachers they have had.

Our child has been at Primrose since 2021. From the Newborn class room to thier current room, we have never considered withdrawing our child for the Primrose family.
Each teacher and staff memember have set the precedent for childcare. With open communication about health issues and incidents, a safe place to be a child and a parent, and always a warm and smiling face Primrose goes above and beyond. Priya, the director, brings her family to every community event and is always ready to answer questions.
We truly love where our child is and can not think of a better place.

As a parent that attempted 2 times previously to put my son in daycare and failed, I felt like I had to lower my expectations of a childcare facility. However, upon finding this Primrose location, my hopes were restored when I realized how great this team is. Communication is key for me. I love the app and how communicative everyone is about what is going on with my son. They make accommodations for my sons diet restrictions, they assisted him with his potty training milestone, and got him out of his shell as he was a very shy kid. I am so pleased that I even promoted a Primrose school to my bestfriend that lives in Arizona!! Her daughter started this week and she has been raving about how amazing her school is as well. We can't get enough of Primrose! ;)

We have absolutely loved our experience at Primrose. Our daughter was very shy at first and the team at Primrose made her feel safe and at home. Additionally, as a first time mom, they responded to all my questions and concerns with empathy and understanding. They allowed me to call every five minutes to check in on her the first couple of weeks. My daughter has now been there for 3 years and loves going to see “her friends”. Thanks Primrose FW!

Many thanks to our Primrose Firewheel family! Both our daughters attended here after we relocated for work. That transition was incredibly difficult for the entire family, especially for the kiddos having to adapt to a whole new environment. Olga and the team have worked with us and our daughters to make sure they are as happy as they can be, and we will always be grateful for all the staff here. They did a fantastic job communicating, keeping us informed, and keeping our girls happy while learning new things every day!

Absolutely recommend Primrose Firewheel for any of your daycare/preschool needs. My children began attending in October 2022 and we're so glad we chose this school. My 2yo and 4yo love it so much and we as parents love it too. The staff truly treats us like family and takes such good care of our kids.

Our family highly recommends Primrose of Firewheel. We had both of our kids here (from 2-4y/o and from 1-2y/o) and only left because we moved out of town. The owner, Priya, is fantastic as is the entire staff and all of the teachers. It is clean, accommodating, safe, supportive… everything you would want a place you send your kids to be! Definitely check them out if you are in the Garland area, you won’t be disappointed!

Primrose of Firewheel has been awesome. We sent our son when he was 12 weeks Special mention to Ms. Bebe in the Infant class she is a very loving, caring and very experienced teacher. As a first time mother it was hard leaving him at a very young age but she made it easy for us! Even when he moved to Young and older toddler class the transition was smooth and he didn't even struggle! I highly recommend this school. The staff from the teachers and front desk are very kind and pleasent. The Franchise owner Priya is one of a kind! Anytime I had a concern she would address it immediately, she was easy to talk to and was just a phone call away. ♥️

Being a first-time parent and finding quality care is very tough. From the moment that I called for information about their school they made me feel very secure in the entire process I had been a stay at home mom with my daughter so it was extremely scary for me to just leave her with strangers when I had never even left her alone with family. Every other daycare I had called seemed like they just wanted money and didn’t care if it was a good fit for my family and I. Mrs. Megan wanted to make sure not only I felt comfortable but my daughter Evelyn as well. The teachers treated us like family and for the first month every time I would call to check up on her they never felt annoyed with me bothering them for an update and seemed finite than happy to go check on her for me just so I could have reassurance. We will truly miss being a part of such a great and caring school as well as her teachers Ms. Fatima & Ms. Shelby! The bond she made with them was so special and sweet I couldn’t ask for a better place to send my daughter. ❤️
