We bought a 6 needle brother embroidery machine February 2023 here (and we had absolutely zero sewing experience in our history). Things went pretty smoothly until November 2023. Then all kinds of issues. We tried to solve the what we thought was the problem ourselves using YouTube videos and online information. We just ended up unhappy and frustrated. Out of desparation I called the store on a Monday afternoon and spoke with Van. He came to our house THE NEXT MORNING and spent almost two hours adjusting the machine, testing, and making certain that it was all set up for us to start again; and he explained what he was doing and why to teach me should it happen again in the future. Van is super patient and kind! We will definitely be Rockin’ Bobbin customers for life.

What a wonderful experience. Staci and Van were amazing! Van took the time with me over the phone and in the store. I purchased a Brother 10 needle from them and I couldn't be happier with my decision. They were patient and made sure I bought the right machine for my needs. If you want a fun shop to shop thrn go to Rocking Bobbin!!! They are fully stocked on everything...I wanted to stay all day if I could have just to shop for fabrics and notions and tons of thread colors. I highly recommend them and their beautiful shop. I would give a 10 stars if possible!!

Bought me a Luminaire XP3 with Embroidery unit that is awesome from Rocking Bobbin Quilt shop in Bass Pro area off I30. My favorite sewing machine so far! I’ve have or had Pfaff, 2 Bernina’s and a Brother Prox1050.

This is a great shop. Friendly and helpful staff. I took a class there. The space was nicely arranged, plenty big enough for each of us and the instruction was great!

Don't recommend going to this location for repairs. The man is very rude and just kept saying he couldn't fix my machine and to call the company. I let him know that I was sent here by the company since their store and the company have an agreement to make repairs for their products. The man got frustrated when I mentioned that and began to raise his voice. I understand not wanting to repair the machine but yelling at me was not necessary. And if he is tired of ppl coming in with products from that company why not just cut off the agreement with the company? I really wanted to give this location a chance but their customer service needs serious improvement.

What an amazing store! I went in looking for an embroidery machine to make hats for my daughters band. I had no experience at all with embroidery machines. Lisa was so helpful and informative. She went out of her way to help me figure out how to do the hats. So i got the machine and she helped me get the right supplies. Then I had some problems and went back for more supplies and Van went out of his way - above and beyond - and created a file for me to embroider! It was perfect for what I needed. I feel like I made some friends and I can’t wait to take some classes there. Rockin Bobbin is the store you want to go to, they are simply the best and the friendliest!

called on 12/7 to ask if they could service my coverstitch machine. I was told it would take 3-4 weeks to finish, so I dropped it off 12/9.When I was checking it in with the 2 ladies up front, one lady told the other to make sure she leaves a note that part of my machine was dented so I "don't try and complain about it at pick up". I was told I would be called when it was ready and left.On 1/11 I called to check on it since it had been about 4.5 weeks and haven't heard anything, but I knew the holidays had happened so I just called to check on it.Upon calling I was told it was pending MY approval to fix the motor. Which is great BUT they never called me for approval. And probably would not have called me and it would still be sitting there had I not called. While talking to her she told me "I don't know, I just work here" when I asked why I wasn't called for approval. I asked when it would be done and she said she didn't know. I asked if they could make sure to call me when it's finished so I can get it as I need it for my business, asap.I got a call 3 days later (1/14) that it was finished and I was finally able to pick it up. When I got there the lady at the desk was insisting to the guy that he didn't charge me for everything and there must be something missing from my invoice. He said there was nothing missing and I was finally able to pay and leave.I will not be returning, I'm extremely disappointed in the customer service of everyone I spoke to on every occasion. And even more disappointed that my machine sat there for who knows how long pending approval before I called them.Edited to add: I just tried to use it for the first time since getting it and now there’s a grinding noise going on inside so I still can’t use it

Rocking Bobbin is the best Bernina dealer in DFW - especially for Q series machines. The technician team is top notch - they take the time to understand what your machine is doing, fix the issues, and communicate with you how to best use your machine. I have a Q20, purchased from a dealer out of state before I moved to Dallas, and it had issues with thread shredding. I brought the machine in and spent hours with the technician showing him what the machine was doing and troubleshooting through a solution. Before Rocking Bobbin fixed it, the machine was effectively a super expensive paper weight. Now it stitches beautifully! Even if you didn’t buy your machine at this store they will pull out all the stops to help you with any issues. I am confident that Rocking Bobbin will help me solve any issue with my Q20 and 770QE. Unlike other dealers, Rocking Bobbin takes the time necessary to help their customers in the decision of which machine to purchase, how to use the machines to their full ability (classes, help in the store and over the phone), and the owners and employees create a warm, welcoming environment.

I recently bought a Brother Luminaire XP3 at Rockin Bobbin, and I am so pleased with my purchase. I have been sewing and embroidering for over 50 years and when I brought my Luminaire home, I thought I died and went to sewing and embroidery heaven. This is the most fantastic machine I have ever owned. The Brother on line training is fabulous. The Rockin Bobbin shop is wonderful also. The people who work there give wonderful customer service. This is not an inexpensive machine, but it is worth every penny. If you can only buy one machine, this would be the one.

I learned of this place years ago when I needed my very old Bernina fixed and they did a great job. So this year, when searching for the best new sewing machine, I learned that service is everything so I bought a new machine there.

I just purchased this BROTHER 680W, 6 needle machine from this shop. I was not able to drive there, so everything was done over the phone. They were kind enough to deliver, setup, and teach me how to use the basics of the machine. The machine is awesome and the people there are just GREAT! Highly recommend this shop.I am updating my review for this shop. I decided I wanted to upgrade to get the Brother PR 1055W (10 needle machine). Rocking Bobbin made it possible for me to trade up to the next level machine and all was done over the phone for financing and delivery and setup. If you are interested in embroidering, and would like to start an at home business, these people are awesome to deal with. They are friendly and knowledgeable about the machines. Van and Stacy are just great! I highly recommend this store!
