I visited this place because of the opinions I read, it was not very pleasant. The food had no seasoning. The person who served us was the same person who cooked. They should pay more attention to the food and service.

Visit from owner to see if we were satisfied. I go Berrian tacos which a special that day. Insane flavor with every bite. Husband's chili relleno was huge, and he dug in before I could get a picture. Our first time there but definitely not the last.

Food and service were good. I had a good experience overall, but I was not fascinated with the quality. Many of the online menu items were not available.Parking: Lot is large enough and it is empty for the most part.

So incredibly delicious! The food here is amazing. I had the shrimp enchiladas and was so impressed. The tortillas for the enchiladas were made there and were light with amazing flavor. Everything we had was superb. Do yourself the favor of trying this place.

I read the reviews on this place before I went there. I ordered three shrimp tacos, and most Mexican places will serve it with free rice and free refried beans. But this place does not even serve pico to put on the tacos for free. The language barrier really was cringeworthy. I was charged $3.50 for some kind of corn side, when all I wanted was a little pico to put on my tacos. I will not be going back

This place is legit. As a recent transplant from the Bay Area, I haven't been that impressed with the food in Dallas but this place is great. Authentic, delicious and fairly priced.

Unexpected surprise. Came here recommended by a friend. He said great things about it. I stopped on a Friday afternoon not knowing what to expect. As I walked in the place looked "unfinished " like it's under construction. Not many people eating so that made me nervous. I gauge restaurant's by the cuisine and the clientele that eat there. For example being Mexican I have a certain standard for what "I think" makes great Mexican food. Depending on my background experience and what part of Mexico the food style comes from, I'll have an open mind on what to expect. This place touted as central Mexican DF/Jalisco cuisine si I was sucked in. I got their signature chicken plate that I think had a mole sauce. Let me tell you that if the rest of the food tasted like this, then they know what they're doing. Delicious!!!I order a side of birria tacos and were great as well. They also have karaoke night but forgot what day. Sorry. It seems to get busy not on the weekend. I'll bring the wife and friends on my next visit. Never judge a book by its cover as the saying goes. The owner was a nice and humble man. Can't wait for my next visit.

Some of the best Birria tacos in Garland, Sazon is well worth a visit to this humble hole-in-the -wall. I got the 3 goat Birria tacos with consommé, rice and beans. Beans are made in house and had that unmistakeable lard flavor that is like crack cocaine. Birria was tender, moist and perfectly shredded, folded with white cheese into tacos that were then dipped in chile and crisped on the grill. Wow - I will see those in my dreams.I put some onions, cilantro, a squeeze of lime and some of the house made ancho salsa on the tacos -- took them to a whole 'nother level of deliciousness! My husband got the Guadalajara Torta, with stewed pork, melted cheese and poblano chiles on ciabatta bread. This Torta was HUGE - enough for 2 meals. Meat was tender and juicy, the poblanos gave a spike of heat and the cheese held everything together. A GREAT Torta!5 Eat here now stars

The BEST Mexican food I've eaten in the metroplex. Real, authentic Mexican, not tex Mex. So flavorful and delicious. The owner was also super nice and attentive. Will definitely be returning.
