I had a fantastic experience at this USPS location—truly one of the best interactions I’ve ever had at any government office.
From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Herb was my first point of contact, and his approachable demeanor and infectious smile immediately made the interaction feel positive. Although he wasn’t able to resolve my specific issue—something a bit more complex involving undelivered mail—he took the time to really listen and then directed me to the manager for further help.
Gabby (hope I’m spelling her name right!) stepped in right away and was absolutely incredible. She was thorough, patient, and extremely kind throughout the process. She went above and beyond to make sure I got the help I needed and did it all with such a pleasant attitude.
This experience was a breath of fresh air. I honestly can’t remember the last time I left a government office feeling this satisfied and genuinely cared for. Huge thanks to Herb and Gabby for their outstanding service!

Exceptional Service from North Garland USPS Supervisor
I recently had an issue with a certified letter I mailed to the IRS on May 1st. It was time-sensitive, but according to the tracking, it wasn’t delivered until May 19th. I filed a complaint, hoping to get clarity on what went wrong.
To my surprise, a supervisor from the North Garland Post Office, Miss Gabbie, contacted me almost immediately. I missed her first call, but she was persistent and followed up again. When I finally spoke with her, I was truly impressed by her professionalism and care.
Miss Gabbie thoroughly explained how mail processing timelines have changed and gave me helpful suggestions on how to ensure future important mail is properly time-stamped and tracked. When I explained how this delay impacted my IRS situation, she went above and beyond by sending me copies of the tracking information to submit as proof that I mailed it on time and the delay was not my fault.
Her empathy, diligence, and dedication were truly appreciated. USPS needs more supervisors like Miss Gabbie who are committed to excellent customer service. Thank you so much for your help!

The Asian lady so rude rushing me and pointing like here i understand many things have changed but before it was just a stamp and address and return address and there boom done now since everything changing at least consider us and not rush me

In the past I have never had any issues with this location but today on 5/30/25
Normally they just scan my QR code & get for package ready to mail off & etc in the past.
But Today I was told to use the machine. They said the stickers was jamming there machine. It’s has never done it in the past!!!
It’s seems like they were just being lazy to me.
Ok the machine is handy to use when you’re closed or in hurry & don’t want to wait in line.
But sometimes I perfer deal with a real person instead of a flippen machine!!!!!!!
It really pissed me off the lack of customer service preferring me to use a machine instead of a real person.

Today I found out out postman Chris Just route had been changed. I have lived in the Lively for 3 years and Chris has been awesome. HE delivered our mail in a timely manner and he was on point with each delivery. The new postman comes late in the afternoon and it's not acceptable. Please bring Chris back to the Lively at Firewheel!!

I came here on 4/10 to get a package sent to labor relations in dalllas I had the correct information on the priority envelope how the lady put 75201 I couldn’t tell you but it’s almost a month and that package has yet to be delivered .. no one had the common sense at no location to realize the zip code is incorrect a whole month and my package is still sitting at the main which I looked up and they are closed .. and people wonder why our jobs are on the line .. what’s the point of paying for priority if priority is still sitting there I have important documents that’s in there and I’m going to complain every day cause this is unacceptable

On 02/19/2025 I went to send something important and it was 4:57pm and at the door I met a black lady working there(not a racial profiling cause I’m black as well) she told me it’s closed… I told her it’s not 5 yet and she said it’s 5pm and she want me to use the drop box…. I drove fast to go there from work arrived before the closing time cause I had questions as well to asked before sending my package but unfortunately I couldn’t…. I don’t know who is the manager of this place but it needs to be addressed…. And you can check the authenticity of what I say by verifying the camera and the time I mentioned earlier….

If I could leave zero stars I would. These lazy mail delivery people are the reason government workers get a bad rep. I really hope the new administration cleans house with them🤦🏽♂️.
