On the fence about Poco. Very nice people, I've only been there 3 or 4 times. I've never had bad customer service there. Also, fast service the few times I have been there. But one thing that seemed odd to me and still does. I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. Was informed that tire balancing is not included with the rotation. This is the only place I've ever been that didn't include both of them together. I've worked in several shops as a tire & lub guy. Including Stone's and Wal-Mart. It's always been considered one service. So I found that odd. Also, I've never paid more than $170 for oil change, tire rotation, and air filter. I paid more than $230 for the same thing without the balance. Poco does feel like its over priced. I'll probably go back and test them out a few more times on repairs before I decide if I want them as my new main maintenance place for my vehicles.

Friendly staff but went to go get alignment checked was told I need bushings and had several loose parts. My husband is a mechanic and has a shop available but doesn't not have the computer and equipment for analignment. There wasn't anything wrong found checked afterward when I got home we double checked and everything is ok

I have spent 1000s of dollars at pocos for them to repair my car and I have never had any issues until recently.My 2016 Dodge Journey is on the last leg of its life but i was determined to get it running decent enough to use regularly. I was having issues with the car dying overnight and the coolant fan working. First visit to pocos they fixed the fan and said the battery needed replacing, luckily my battery was under warranty so it was done for free. Car kept dying overnight at home so we took it back to pocos who kept my car for a week and said they didn't have the same issues with the battery dying. Took the car back home and a day later battery is dead again. Brought the car back to pocos for the final time and they wanted toCharge me 200 for electric diagnostic plus 100 every hour until the problem was found. Seemed a little too steep so I brought the car home. My dad spent a week testing the fuses and connections toThe battery to try and find out what was draining the battery. Nothing was found and Eventually it was zeroed in on the battery itself so we remove the tire to change the battery and find that the battery is turned on its side and not the right battery for my vehicle from what my dad has told me. We paid 200 for a brand new battery and have zero problems now.Sickens me how much I would've paid this shop to fix a problem that they caused by giving me an inadequate battery and turning it on its side. Sorry but my business will be conducted elsewhere from now on.Service: Battery

Very friendly staff, but a bit pricey for my 15" tires. You might have better luck and more options with different sized tires. They're definitely worth talking to!!

Poco came and jumped my car, at ?. . an open car door all night long had drained the battery. no chg! thank you Poco!!! your business ethics and moral contributions to your community is highly valued. you did send someone out to help January 2023 I was not even a customer. who does that today??!! thank you Poco Automotive ? took 5 minutesbtw. My husband and I are new to Gatesville and needed a place to take our 2013 Toyota Yaris for a few issues that we've had for years. Poco took less than 24 hours to fix all the issues we informed them about and were such a delight to talk to; they even gave us a ride home after dropping our vehicle off for the repairs. We definitely will be going here for all of our future car needs!

Poco has a very nice people working for him especially in the front and they have good service I go there several times they have nitrogen to fill up my tires I never had anything else done but they seem to be busy all the time so they must be good

Brought my car in thinking I would need a front end alignment because the tires were wearing strangely. Jack came out and looked at the wear on the tires and asked if I drive on gravel roads, which I do, and explained that the rocks and gravel were the cause of wear pattern and not an alignment issue. Really nice and honest folks.

I went to have pressure checked on trailer tires. Later that day, I had punctured a tire. I went to get a tire from them and they didn’t have one. They called other places in town to find what I needed. The owner drove me in her personal vehicle to pick it up. Once we returned to the store, they mounted and balanced the new tire on my trailer and I was on my way. I am thoroughly impressed with the business. In addition, my father-in-law took a golf cart tire to be fixed, prior to my experience. They fixed it and didn’t charge him. They are all around good people and I’m glad they are in our community.Service: Tires

The folks at Poco are great and friendly. We have had a couple of issues with tire work. The first time was a small tractor tire being placed with the tread going the wrong way. Most recently, We took a tire in that was leaking. Technician removed screw and patched for a $20.00 fee. The next morning the same tire was flat on the car. We will go back because they do usually do great work. Just disappointed in the tire man not checking his work or digging deeper for other issues.

Not everyday you run into honest people, I did. I have a family heirloom Land Cruiser that would turn over out of no where, I got the battery checked, nothing wrong there, so I thought maybe it was the starter, and had it towed to Poco. They seemed super nice and understanding about everything, I did need to pay a $100 diagnostic, but no one works for free right? So next business day I call and ask for the status and they were about to start looking at it, and would call me back when they had an answer for me. Turn out it was nothing, they cleaned and re connected the battery terminals and it started right up like nothing happened. I feel about d*** about it, as I had already assumed the worst came to the conclusion that I was going to get a huge bill. Nope, they didn't charge me, the diagnostic was fee was all and said I could probably use an oil change so I had them do that as well. 10/10 I would go back again, this level of integrity deserves to be rewarded with repeat business which I will happily do in the future.

Cannot say enough nice things about these folks. Our "check engine" light came on after leaving Waco. Car wouldn't go over 24 mph. Limped into Poco. They checked it out and determined it was an issue that was covered by our warranty, so they advised us to get it to a Hyundai dealership where it could be fixed for free. Didn't charge us a penny for this diagnosis. Then they let us wait in their office area as we waited on a tow truck. We were there for FIVE HOURS and they never griped at us. Even asked us if we needed something to eat. I'm a fan. These are awesome folks and I recommend them highly.
