OUR STORY About The Parrot Lupe started working for Carl and Vera, the previous owners of The Parrot in 2004. She and Helio have been married since 1987. Together, they have three children, Jr., Carina, and Hernan. And four grandchildren, Izaiah, Gianni, Ezequiel, and Noah. After Carl and Vera passed, Lupe and Helio were offered the opportunity to purchase The Parrot; they did so in May 2017. Lupe and Helio frequently make trips to Mexico to hand pick the merchandise that The Parrot has to offer, along with custom orders.
My brother and I stopped by from Oklahoma and the Family was such a delight made a big impression on us. I will forever be grateful for coming across this family. And to their Grandson I didn't catch his name but what a fantastic young man.
