When we took our older motorhome in there, all we wanted for them was to check our AC unit the young gentleman we talked to said it would take one to two days and it would be quick after hearing this, we thought let’s leave it only because of the fact that we live in Karnes City well we left it for two months never did we get a call. We had to be calling them. All the time was very frustrating. I finally just got very upset and decided to pick it up, I picked it up. I took it somewhere else following day. My RV was ready to be picked up. I should’ve done and gone with this other company. I would not recommend Platinum RV. I’m sorry they left a bad taste in my mouth and I don’t like for people to lie to me .

I gave 1 star because I could not give a lower one. The guy never called me. I always spoke to the admin. He came out to my house. opened the side of the rv and a rat jumped out. He left and charged me $150 dollars. I had time sensitive insurance issue. and he told me that I had to get it to his yard. by the time I got everything figured out (what he was called out there to do in the first place) they said he couldnt look at it in time to file on my extended warrantee. I will never do business with those people again and I would advise everyone to do the same!

Platinum RV Center saved us from the wrath of a massive bind and are possibly the nicest mechanics I've ever encountered. They are also very knowledgeable in their business. If you own an RV, you must visit them. Fantastic service.

We're full timers for years and have had a slide issue for several monts. We've contacted numerous shops in several different locales resulting in either no call back, too busy or they make an appt and never show or return calls. We called Kevin at Platinum in early October, he was very responsive & set an appt for November when his slide expert, Eric, was available. Eric showed up on time, listened to us, quickly diagnosed the problem (which was not the motor as we thought) and not only fixed it, but walked us through it step by step for future reference. We're no spring chickens, but we like to troubleshoot and fix issues ourselves when possible. Eric was friendly, professional, never condescending and most importantly, extremely knowledgeable and competent. He took all the time we needed, answered our questions and never made us feel rushed or herded. I would highly recommend this business. They're quick, pleasant, honest and have great pricing! I had used Platinum 1 time to check an ac unit not working and they were fast responding. But when i contacted Kevin to do some other repairs on my rv I was told they were busy and would be a month. Ok thats fine..fast forward a month and I have called at least 5 times and never get a call back. I had recommended this business to several other rvers and it was hit and miss with them getting in contact with him. A short call back is all you need to do. Or even a text..most of us are using cell phones. I am disappointed to say the least because i had thought they had good service.

Storm winds damaged and tore off my RV awning fabric and bracing beyond repair at a trailer park here in Victoria, Tx. where I am currently staying on a long term job assignment. Contacted an RV repair place in Seadrift, Tx. which is the closest one I found that I was told could replace my awning without having to bring in my RV. After 9 months and numerous phone calls I gave up on their stalling, and started searching the internet. I found Platinum RV in George West, Tx. and noted they listed Victoria as one of the cities they provided mobile service to. I called an was put in contact with a gentleman named Kevin. I gave him the details and sent him some pics. Walla! In less than 2 weeks Kevin calls me at work (before 9:AM) and says my brand new awning assembly is installed and I'm good to go. I could not believe what I was hearing and left work early to see for myself. I could not believe my eyes. There it was, a perfectly installed, brand new awning assembly like from the day I bought my new RV. I opened the RV door, pressed the switch and the awning extended out perfectly and retracted in the same manner. Top notch workmanship (I'm an Inspector) and an extremely satisfied customer. You don't run into many people like Kevin these days.
