The only good things about this place are the tasty enchilada plate and its sale. There is always parking, it's quiet, and clean outside. The employees are usually nice and friendly. But I'm sorry something needs to be done about those restrooms. They are absolutely disgusting!! I can't believe someone can manage this place and be ok with it. Please take some pride in ur store.

Typical nasty disgusting south Texas Stripes bathrooms. Come on 7-eleven, have some pride in your stores.
This is the perfect intersection for a Buc-ees.

The most putrid womens restroom I've EVER encountered. I'm traumatized at what I saw in the toilets.
Skip this place. We couldn't get out of there fast enough, and my husband said the mens restrooms were just as bad.

Okay this is the worse experience I have ever had at a stripes I went to the desk and asked for a shower. The lady was polite and said 7 dollars please I said no problem and paid she said I don’t know which one is open but the guy that was here said they were open. Then said I don’t know the code of any of them so just use the one open.
That should have been a warning!!!
So I checked the doors and only one door was open. When I opened the door it smelled so bad and looked like no one had cleaned it in a few months. I’m not even exaggerating. So I’m not sure about anybody else, but I’m not taking a shower in a dirty bathroom. So I find the broom dustpan mop, and cleaning supplies to clean the restroom myself. I disinfected the best I could, but it was still ridiculous. Not to mention the hot water did not last, but about 10 minutes and the water pressure was pathetic. There were roaches and crickets throughout the inside of the shower and outside the shower clearly no management has checked these restrooms. And if so, stripes needs to reconsider who they hire for management. After I took my shower I walked out and lo and behold. There’s someone else in one of the other showers so I go to the front desk and I ask how did the other gentleman get the code to get into a shower if you don’t have any codes, she proceeds to tell me that he comes here all the time he knows the code, but I don’t know the code
Anyway, think twice of taking a shower at store 2446 in George West Texas

Company isn't keeping the store up. Credit card readers always messing up. The semi fuel island is a joke. 6 pumps and only 1 works right. And they system has been outdated by 20 years. Management should be fired just over the million or so dollars in revenue a year they loose by the diesel pumps not working.

Today, I had a very unpleasant experience at Stripes #5098 (1800 N Highway 37, George West, TX 78022). The billboard displayed a diesel price of $2.90 per gallon. When I drove up to the pump, the price on the display was $3.15. To clarify, I went inside the gas station and asked two employees at the counter what the price was. Both confirmed it would be $2.90.
Trusting their words, I filled up my tank. However, after finishing, I discovered I was charged $3.15 per gallon. I returned to the gas station and asked for the difference to be refunded, but my request was denied. After my complaint, the employees immediately corrected the price on the pump for trucks, lowering it to $2.90, which clearly indicates the mistake was on their side.
Additionally, I noticed that just yesterday, the billboard displayed a price of $3.09. This raised concerns about the consistency between advertised prices and those charged at the pump, which could easily confuse customers.
I intend to contact the company’s customer support to resolve this issue and get my overpayment refunded. Additionally, I will file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), as I believe such practices can cause misunderstandings and may not align with fair advertising and pricing standards.
This kind of behavior, lack of transparency, and refusal to fix an obvious mistake are very disappointing. I strongly recommend being cautious when using this gas station, as the information on billboards and statements from employees may not always reflect reality.
I will consider this experience when choosing gas stations in the future.

Ridiculous!!! 2 strips of fajita for a $5 taco. Won’t be back. Watch them make your food because I just can’t with this. Then the tortilla rawish. What a weak taco.

Stopped by there tonight and the “store lead” Justin was completely rude. He argued with a coworker in the store in front of customers and when I spoke to my friend, he assumed I mentioned he had a attitude until I asked him “do we have a problem” and then he shut up. He needs to be fired due to poor customer skills, rudeness and giving an attitude. He was unprofessional.

It's ok. So if I could, I'd give it 3 ½ stars. However, they have some of the most stinky and most yucky bathrooms. They definitely have the worst urinals.

This is the poorest excuse of a truck stop. Always out of soda. New make tea. Not 1 window squeegee on the truck side. Manager is very rude.
