Out of all auto loans companies I have used in the past this is the absolute WORST company I have dealt with. Not once but twice they have taken out my ENTIRE loan amount the day after paying my payment. I took all my bank info off my account and decided I was going to manually call in my payment even tho it cost extra to do it over the phone and they STILL charged me twice for my payment. I am at a loss for words as to why this company continues to rob me blind. If I could just cancel them all together I would but unfortunately I can’t refinance due to my loan amount being bigger than what my car is worth (traded a car in). Needless to say I am no longer talking to anyone on the phone. You will get the wrath of me in person so buckle up!-signed the most unsatisfied customer in A+ federal credit union history!

I went in to open an account for the first time and was helped by Letty at the Georgetown location. She was very informative and professional. I was able to open my account, get it funded, and sin up for online/mobile banking all with her. Overall great experience!

I couldn’t find zero stars I got money order previous day but ended up having the wrong time and didn’t want it accidentally lost. So the next day I go back to deposit it back in my account the clerk said all good deposited it back in the account and emailed the receipt. 4 hours later I get a call from them saying it was done wrong and I have to come back tomorrow to fix it because they waited until after closing to contact me. I had to leave town that night, unfortunately, due to the carelessness of an unknowable clerk the funds for the puppy medical procedure weren't their thanks. Money is not a funny mistake business to be in cause it's dangerous

It's pretty frustrating to be bombarded with "best place to work 202X" "best customer service 202X", and yet receive very poor service.To clarify, the tellers are great. If you're doing basic transactions - deposit/withdrawal/etc. - there are zero issues. The people are friendly and it's very fast.But, if you want to open a bank account? Forget about walking in. I waited almost an hour myself, then had to go back to work. My mom waited well over an hour, then finally gave up. There were TWO people waiting to speak with bankers about opening accounts (we were one of them).It's ridiculous that such a basic process should take this long, especially on a quiet Thursday afternoon. And we were provided with zero alternate options - it'd be nice to be able to do this over the phone or online - any way that would prevent having to wait potentially hours.

I have been doing business with A+ since 2015. I moved because I had been dealing with one of the big 3 banks and wanted to get a more personalized bank. In the last couple of years they have gone from being a little offensive - asking where this deposit came from as though I am laundering money - to being utterly offensive. I have over $10,000 in a savings account plus a checking account with over $3,000. When I wrote a loan payment for 17 cents less than the accurate amount, they sent me a collection letter. (They will not issue a coupon book.) Last week, I deposited $160 through the ATM. I received a letter in the mail yesterday that they put a $38 hold on that deposit. (Again, I have over $10,000 in savings with them.) Something is not right in the management and they now require an appointment to meet with them because the lobby in Georgetown is closed most, if not all, the time. I am looking for a new bank as this one feels like it is failing.

Several years ago I changed banks to open a business account. At that time business accounts were not available at A+. I made the mistake of not closing the inactive account. Some subscription I was unaware of renewed and caused a $15 overdraft. The $15 overdraft ended up in collection. I never received anything from A+ or a collection agency eventhough I still lived and ran a business in the same small town.. I eventually found out it a few years later when I pulled my credit. I went to A+, paid the fees due and asked if they could remove the collection notice from my credit. The A+ guy said they would not object if I declared to each credit agency it was not my debt and then it would fall off. Evidently they did object to my denial, wanting to continue to wreck my credit for that $15 overdraft. Now I find myself a decade later with the collection still on my credit. It has cost me dearly over this time in additional charges on insurance and higher interest rates. I wish I could truly let them know how I feel about it. Instead I will hammer their reputation as much as I can until the end of time. Next time give a guy a phone call! You had my number.
