GameStop is a home base for gamers, offering new and used video games, consoles, controllers, and accessories for PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo, including retro gaming. It also carries trading cards, sports cards, Pokemon cards, and other TCGs. The store features gaming, anime, and pop culture merchandise like collectibles, action figures, apparel, decorations, replicas, and board games. Customers can sell or trade in old consoles, games, accessories, and phones for cash or store credit, and the store is now buying PSA graded collectibles like sports cards and Pokemon cards. The store is known for having many games for half the price or even cheaper than the original price, making it a place where there is no reason to buy a full-price game. Staff are described as kind, patient, helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient, often providing great recommendations and explaining things in simple terms. They are willing to help with exchanges and trades, working to find solutions for customers. Experiences can vary, as the store is sometimes very busy with only one person working, and there have been instances of a locked door during posted open hours. However, many customers report quick and efficient service and state they will definitely visit again, considering GameStop the best place to go for anything game-related.
The employees here are so helpful! I came in frustrated about a broken controller, and Marcus was incredibly kind and helpful. He was very busy in the store, but was just as kind and helpful to everyone who came in. Give this guy a raise!
