The indoor pool tends to still be cold! When the kids get out their teeth area chattering and they are shivering.

The Georgetown Rec Center is truly one of the best community resources we have. There’s so much to do here — it has everything you could want and more! From a giant indoor pool to racquetball courts, an indoor track, and an impressive lineup of fitness and community classes, it’s designed for every age and interest.
What really sets it apart is how well it brings people together. Whether you’re working out, taking a class, or just exploring something new, there’s always a welcoming atmosphere and plenty of friendly faces.
Excellent amenities, great value, and a place that truly reflects the heart of Georgetown. Highly recommend!

The rec center is such a great service to the Georgetown Community. The pool is always plain and the lifeguards do a good job of keeping everyone safe. The weight room sometimes feels quite crowded, but then other times it does not. There are a couple of leg machines missing such as leg extension and leg curl I believe. But other than that you can get a decent workout in. I love that they communicate about the courts being used for youth sports. Even before you enter the building they have a sign that says Court number one closed today, pool, etc.

I love the rec kind of sad that they'll be closed on August 25th to September 1st I'm going to be bored. 😂

They have the basics for working out and I enjoy the indoor track. I do wish they had a couple more leg machines.

Ah yes, classic Texas sports facility logic at its finest: “Let’s build a massive complex that could host half the state during a weekend soccer tournament... and then give it a parking lot the size of a Chick-fil-A playground.”
You’ve got multiple fields, gyms, courts, a couple pools, and who knows what else, but somehow they forgot that people might actually need to park their cars.
Georgetown Parks and Rec, you clearly nailed the “Rec” part. The “Park”? Not so much.

As a local resident of Georgetown. I love the Rec Center it’s more than a gym. It’s a community center that’s focused on the community of Georgetown and their guests. They also have programs children and youths ie sports camps etc. they offer days passes that less than 10 dollars for one day or monthly pass that are 30 for residents and 35 outside residents etc. it’s affordable for everyone. Also it really is a judgment free zone. My favorite area are the upstairs track comes handy during the hot summer when walking in the parks is to hot. The work out area with all the machines and free waits is awesome. However it would be nice if they can add stair masters also. Overall I am really pleased with my experience there.

This is a great place to see my niece playing her games. But the parking situation is very unsafe and crowded.

Nice gym, offers a LOT of programs! Staff super friendly. Brandi Williams, the Youth and Teen Program Coordinator is an angel and incredibly kind. She goes out of her way to answer any questions you have and is super compassionate. I inquired about a summer and spring break program for my kiddos and she answered all of my questions over the phone and emailed me all the information. My kiddos have been going the past 2 spring breaks and summers. Thanks Georgetown Rec!
