We went to this business for a silver purchase. Scott was very informative and helpful. His prices are comparable and he has a good inventory. Don't hesitate to do business with Gold and Coin Mart. We will be back!

I do not recommend Gold and Coin mart. The owner has zero people skills and is extremely short with customers. He literally told us I’m sorry you drove here before looking at the coins. Don’t waste your time and go to a establishment that won’t make you feel like your putting them out by being in their presence.

I was looking forward to spending significant money today based on the reviews, however, after my 40 minute drive the sign on the door said masks required. Pleaae update you Google page as it says mask required for staff. It would have saved me a trip.

Amazing shop! Hands down the best comics around!! Not only does he have an amazing selection, but the condition of the books are frankly spectacular. The owner was so kind and personable; truly a joy to talk with him. His prices were very fair. If you like to dig for comics this place is as close to heaven as you'll find. Its like traveling back to the early nineties, I left the store soaring with nostalgia, I can't say enough about this truly hidden gem.

I'd schlepped up to Georgetown from Austin, because I couldn't find a coolly-curated collector's shop in Austin. The drive is worth it. Scott has a trove.Scott is a numismatist who knows the qualities, conditions and rarities of coins, as much as he appreciates their beauty. He's also got an enormous collection of vintage and rare comic books. This shop is a treasure. Scott is an honest, careful pro and a gentleman.

I have done business with Scott many times and he has always been honest and helpful. I usually “do my homework” on items I bring in to trade and almost without fail I find that he is “on the mark.” The few items I’ve been surprised about were really because of my ignorance of the jewelry market. But he is always patient and kind in explaining his rationale and in making suggestions on how to get the best price for items.
