Congratulations to HEB for hiring the very pharmacist who potentially has the worst attitude and least compassion toward customers of any in Texas! After calling 3 times (last time being told it would be ready in an hour when I would be there picking up curbside groceries anyway) and explaining that Walmart had to short me on a cough medicine prescription and the doctor increased the dose, I showed up with Bronchitis (mask on) to this pharmacy. I was not met with, “We’re sorry, we have to wait a couple of days to fill this, do you have enough to get by?” or “Let us call your doctor and figure this out;” or even “Can we deliver this when it’s ready since you are apparently so sick?” Nope. Instead I get handed straight over to this sassy pharmacist who, hand on hip, tells me she can only go by what’s on her computer screen and it says I have 5 days worth from Walmart and there’s nothing she can do for me. After I have to literally tell her to stop and listen for 2 seconds so I can show her where the doctor messaged me she was increasing the dose, she finally agrees to call my doctor and I leave in a huff saying I’ll come back. Well apparently, she called my doctor and told her she would not fill my prescription because I was mean to her! So apparently that’s a thing: you must behave or no medicine for you! I feel like I’m on a Seinfeld episode! Never mind that she was the one who started with the attitude. Serious major training needed here. LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR, this isn’t about me having to wait to get the additional medicine - I understand the law - it was about the immediate onslaught of implied accusations putting me on defense when I was already feeling very weak. After reading the other reviews now, I completely agree that there are no patients or sick people or even customers at this pharmacy. Only insurance dollars to collect.

They shut off the light right in front of my face at 5:59pm saying they are closed. Very nice behavior towards people who are just picking up prescriptions that they need... I wish something like that happens to you as well...

Lazy workers in pharmacy. Probably will change pharmacy soon if poor service continues.Update. Yep. They keep getting worse. When you go to pick up prescriptions doctor called in. They only did part of it. Workers here don't know how to read computer screen. HEB needs to higher older more astute employees in this department. I agree with other reviews here. HEB pharmacy doesn't see you as a person coming in for help. They see you as their $$$ maker.

Terrible pharmacy, always out of medication and lack of communication regarding availability and medications being ready or not. Only reason i am using this since its close by but that will be changing soon. Run away from this disrespectful place. Don’t rely on them for important medication and communication regarding your medication.

The only reason I use this pharmacy is because there isn’t another option within 10 miles. This pharmacy doesn’t auto refill medications like CVS and is frequently out of time-sensitive medication. The filling times are slow, too. To say I haven’t been impressed is an understatement.

I should have stopped using this pharmacy two months ago when they gave me someone else's prescription. About an hour after I picked up my prescription, HEB called me to let me know what they had done. I hadn't even opened my bag yet so I was unaware that my prescription had someone else's name on the bottle (the bag had my name). They apologized profusely. I understand that accidents can happen, but this is inexcusable, dangerous, and possibly life-threatening. I didn't have time to go back to the pharmacy that day, so I had to go without my medication for a day and then make an extra trip the following day. They told me they'd have everything waiting for me when I got there, but they did not. I had to wait 30 minutes for the supervisor to do whatever paperwork she had to complete before I was able to get my medication. She did give me a $25 HEB gift card for my trouble, but the entire situation should have steered me away.Today I waited behind a single car in the drive-thru for 20 minutes. When I finally got to the window, I told the lady I had new insurance and she told me I would need to drive around to the back of the line while they reprocessed the payment. Keep in mind that when I got there, there was only one car ahead of me and now the line was 3 cars deep. I told her I didn't have time to get in the back of the line and she said it would "only take 2 minutes." I replied that I just waited 20 minutes behind a car that was just sitting there and asked why she hadn't sent him to the back of the line and she just stared at me so I asked for my cards back.The drive-thru thing wouldn't have been such a big deal if this wasn't the third time they've done this to me after waiting for long periods of time. The last time they did this to me, they told me I needed to come into the store. I don't remember what the reason was, but, not intending to have gotten out of my car, I found a parking spot and marched in there in my pajama bottoms and slippers, only to have to wait in a standing line that far outnumbered the drive-thru line.The lady today was rude just like 90% of their staff...except when they give you the wrong prescription. The wrong prescription gets you better service, but still not great. There's been very few times I haven't left this place super frustrated.Now if you'll excuse me, I need to call a non-HEB pharmacy about getting my prescriptions transferred.
