Bought one of the Predator generators and it only worked for 3 days before the carbon monoxide sensor went out on it. The only option was to return the entire generator because it was before 90 days so they couldn't even order the part and send it to me . I had paid a welder to weld it down to the front of the trailer so no one could steal it. The generator itself wasn't damaged in any way welding it, but then I had to pay someone to cut it loose to return it and then had a drain all the gas. Needless to say at this point I have no faith in the Predator generator line. But now they're charging me a 25% restocking fee. Just stay away from this situation and pay more for a generator that works. The light that came on is yellow and according to the manual is not repairable and that sensor needs to be replaced. I'm out total about $410. Harbor Freight just lost a lifelong customer... then they called customer service and asked to hear the call I had with them yesterday saying we never said you could return it. When I told the manager Brett the parts department told me "I should have no issue returning it without a restocking fee" Brett said "well the parts department had no right to say that". What a terrible company... all that money I saved here on tools in the past now is not worth it.
Sam's Club in Cedar Park has a Westinghouse generator with a 3-year warranty for $550 bucks.

Paid cash and the cashier told me it’s 49.86 so I handled 50 with no doubt, it’s 39.86 from the receipt when I checked back home and the receipt stated paid cash 40 with 0.14 charge. Well that’s some new stuff for me for sure, psychologically if you don’t check the receipt right away you will never realize the 10 lost.

Pretty decent selection. Couple of inventory holes on the shelf. If you need inexpensive one-time usage tools, might as well head through here when you're in Georgetown.
