After we creamated our beloved mother, we wanted somewhere to place her remains. It was truly a blessing how we came across this place. My sister’s best friend mother is here. Now she’ll have someone to chat with.?Everyone we have been in contact with have been professional, patient and understanding of our needs. We are truly grateful to have our mother here.

3.5This is a very nicely maintained cemetery. Several of the graves were covered in rose bushes and floral arrangements that you may not see in other places. There were some gravel pathways and and some statuary that were very pretty. Behind the graves there was a prayer walk way with headstones, chimes and figures dedicated to St. Francis of Asisi. There is no real parking lot to speak of but you can park on the gravel near the opening of cemetery. Also, there are no real bathrooms here. There is a port o potty but it's super gross so be aware to take care of that somewhere else.

I can't recommend this gorgeous cemetery and gardens enough. Our Lady of the Rosary is a beautiful, peaceful, and well-cared for place. It is host to myriad gorgeous flowers and is a restful place for loved ones. I really appreciate the inter-faith nature of this cemetery, and their championing of local artists with the installation of beautiful handcrafted monuments and grave markers. I also greatly respect the green burial practice that is an option at this cemetery. Our Lady of the Rosary is a beautiful, peaceful place to wander and reflect.

As Founder and Artistic Director of the Texas Bach Festival, the beautiful friendship and generous support extended by Nick and Ellen Brumder and Our Lady of the Rosary & Prayer Gardens since our inception in Georgetown, TX has been such a tremendous blessing! As we enter our 5th season, TBF’s ability to continue bringing the great and timeless music of Johann Sebastian Bach and other great composers inspired by him to Central Texas music lovers is due in no small part to OLOTR’s unflagging support. Thank you, Nick and Ellen, for being an integral part of TBF’s mission - onward and upward!

We had an appointment on September 28th to order a headstone and we have called to follow up 3 times now, still no estimate. It's December 2nd. The cemetery is gorgeous and Michelle was very helpful and kind with picking a location within the cemetery, however Carolyn can not manage the headstones and never follows up. Today I requested to speak to the owners of the cemetery and I'm hoping Carolyn passes that message along. If you want a headstone within the normal amount of time it takes to make one I would NOT recommend this place

I went there earlier this week in the morning to walk the prayer path. This property is very beautiful and relaxing. The path is nicely separated from the cemetery with lots of shade and a pond. While walking, there were lots of butterfly's and dragon flies, I even heard a frog from the pond. It's a really great place to walk and think. And there are little landmarks with prayer quotes to read if you wish along the way. As well as places to sit and reflect. The staff is also very nice, I called the day prior with a couple of questions and the lady I spoke too was super nice. The cemetery itself was very nice and well taken care of. Lots of rose bushes and statues scattered around. I will for sure be back to walk the path again. Thank you for having one!

An Oasis of Serenity, Beauty, Life, Sustainability, and WelcomeOur Lady of the Rosary is full of life at every season. My favorite is wildflower season, but even on a hot, Texas summer day, the cemetery and trails are bursting with life at all stages. This is not your typical, gloomy cemetery with sterile, characterless monuments and an atmosphere of forceful silence. Our Lady hums with the rhythms of nature, from a trickling waterfall to the song of birds. It's a fantastic place for viewing Texas's native wildlife as well as a haven for migratory pollinators, like Monarch butterflies. It can be a haven for people, too. As I've moved away from Central Texas, I've found it difficult to locate places of stillness and serenity pretty much anywhere I've lived. Our Lady is just such an oasis of serenity. At the same time, it's also very family-friendly--which you don't usually associate with a cemetery. I love that I could bring my young kids, and that they could be kids even while maintaining respect for those resting in peace. My kids could laugh, play, and run along the trails, and admire the flowers and artistic monuments in the burial gardens, without our feeling like we were out of place or disruptive to anyone. Our Lady is not a place where you feel like you're expected to keep perfect silence, posture, and manners...or else! Rather, Our Lady cultivates reverence simply in its being: by being a place of abundant life; through wonder and awe at nature and all of life's beautiful cycles; the artistry of the monuments; the loving, sustainable stewardship of the environment, from green burial to xeriscaping; and its overflowing beauty. Worth a visit at any time of year, whether you have entrusted a loved one's remains to Our Lady or not--although if you or a loved one lives in Central Texas, I would recommend Our Lady for your final planning as well.

I am extremely grateful for Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery. It’s a hard thing to bury one’s mother, but the staff were as helpful and kind as you could possibly hope for. And the environment—both in their natural/green burial options and in the effort made to keep it a beautiful resting place—brings real consolation every time I go to visit Mom’s grave.
