Much better options for equine therapy in Central TX. Unfortunately this organization is under staffed and unorganized. I do believe their hearts are in the right place.

Came here for a volunteer event. Everyone here is calmer, happier and peaceful. Their energy rubs on you. Love the place and their vision. This place has lots of energy. Few of my colleagues are even sponsoring horses here. It was nice to spend time here. A place where horses are treated like Rockstars ?

The manager was extremely rude to our group and the drinks were not great. Definitely will not be coming back.

Nice facility. However, many of the staff show that they don't think much of the hardworking volunteers that do all the scut work for them. Staff gossip about the volunteers & only give kudos to their favorites while others are never recognized and treated poorly. They should remember that without volunteers, this center would not survive. Stop negative gossip & treat ALL volunteers with the respect & gratitude they deserve for being willing to give their precious time while putting in hardwork all for FREE!

What can you say, ROCK ROCKS!!!!!! I volunteer there and what they stand for and the ones they inspire and help is truly amazing. From the staff, volunteers, and the students make for an uplifting experience. Their mission, the work they do and continue to do out of the kindness of their hearts is remarkable. Do not take it from me, go see for yourself and expect to be changed from that moment on for the rest of your life. Continue doing what you are doing ROCK and good things will follow. True inspiration and kindness throughout the organization, much respect for the effort and work you do. ROCK ON!!!!!!

ROCK is a true inspiration, and is making a huge positive impact on so many lives. A great community asset. They continue to grow in order to help the ever increasing number of clients who could benefit from the variety of therapies offered to kids, adults, veterans. I am a volunteer, and will be for life! I was introduced to R.O.C.K. over 3 years ago by the Junior League of Austin. I went through the required volunteer training and application process prior to volunteering. I have been a side walker ever since. I love being at R.O.C.K. because I get to see the impact these horses and trainers and therapists make in the lives of the clients. The staff and volunteers are happy, helpful, and full of love for others. If you are looking for an equine therapy facility for yourself look no further. The folks at R.O.C.K. are by far the best around! If you are considering an organization to volunteer with look no further!

If you're looking to volunteer somewhere this place is amazing. If you like horses this place is perfect. The staff are so friendly, other volunteers are so happy to be there, the families that come are all such amazing people. It's a really inviting community and you will instantly feel like family. There is always something to do so you'll always feel well utilized. It's also a gorgeous facility, and side walking trail rides in the pasture on a clear, windy day is one of the best times to appreciate the beauty of nature in central texas. I've been volunteering for years here and have loved every time I come.
