Our family dog was bite by a snake. We immediately took him into a vet in Austin. After a full day in their care and no diagnosis we brought our dog back home. We spent close to $1000 for his treatment and we were never told what caused his swelling in his arm.Once back home with our dog I contacted Dr. David Mitschke. We met Dr. Mitschke that same day. Dr. Mitschke immediately diagnosis the issue, snake bite. By the next day all the swelling in our dogs arm had gone down and our dog was on his way to a full recovery thanks to Dr. Mitschke.Dr. Mitschke is the best. He is very knowledgeable and has a wealth of experience in the field. My dog died from parvo when i asked mr .mitchke if he could pick my dog up an keep her alive because had work an was unable to care for her. His respond was im to busy as well. Told me to find someone or take dog to work? Wow. Thanks im not happy with experience.

Dr kindly met me late evening with an injured dwarf goat. He sewed her up and she is doing very well. Very knowledgeable gentleman doctor. Highly recommended!

Dr. Mitschke is great! Very reasonable prices, quick service, and you always get a package of cookies! It's hard to find a good house call vet, but you won't be disappointed with Dr. Mtischke!
