I try to stop in at least once a week to get some food from the deli, the quantities are always plenty and great deals. I get the chicken snack pack and its plenty for me with a couple of chicken tenders, potatoe logs, gravy, and a roll. The spicy tenders are amazing and the chicken tenders are always large. The service is very accommodating and the employees are very helpful. Everything looked to be organized and clean in the food service areas. There's a great selection of food, something for everyone. The atmosphere is friendly. The ladies work very hard to get your orders out quickly. Overall great experience and look forward to future stops. This store has been a great addition to Gilmer, Texas and it is a great place to grocery shop. The parking lot is huge and there's always somewhere to park. Everything is handicapped accessible. The gas pumps are convenient. You definitely get what you pay for here with great meat selection for every occasion or meal.

Found everything I needed today. I struggled a little to find the things I needed. The store was clean and there were employers everywhere busy either stocking or assisting others. Pleasant day in this store.

Great people. Great prices. It's not the fanciest, but it is perfect for Gilmer!
And people that say it's expensive just need to look around the store more and shop for better deals! It's one of the best Brookshires around!

Easy shopping experience and has a wide variety for quick or full shopping trips. Nice staff and available parking. Clean bathrooms that are stocked.

I have been shopping at Brookshires for the bulk of our Groceries. I have compared the total to Walmart. For the last 5 months, Brookshires has been cheaper by $100+ It's so liberating by not being attached to Walmart in any way. My hometown Brookshires has my business for Life! Still the best price on food

Worst store. Manager wouldn't honor buy one get one on steaks. She said it didn't include thin steaks. Ad doesn't mention that. We will not come to this location ever again. They told my elderly mother to walk back to shelf to put up meat. She said she would only honor price if we spent 25.00 or more.

Went and bought the John Wayne chicken. It was a tough old bird with an over salty personality. I won't buy fried chicken here again. Ugh, yuk and other words. Way too tough and salt.

This location is an overrated convenience store. It seems they wait until they are completely out of stock on an item before they reorder it. And when they have their 3-day sales, they never carry the items on sale.
Edit: I want to modify what I Said about the staff. It's the management that have really awful attitudes, while the floor staff are super nice most of the time. I kind of feel bad for the rest of the staff, if they are treated like the customers when it comes to any kind of conflicts in details.
The store manager is the worst! She struts around like a peacock and barks orders at the staff. And when it comes to dealing with customers, she will stand there and repeat the same short sentence over and over like a broken record. She will not explain anything like why there has been no availability on a product for the last 5 days. And if you try to break the cycle, she puts her hand up in your face and walks away.
There's another store in Longview and Gladewater, both which stock items regularly and maintain a pleasant staff and management. Go there, or go to the Wal-Mart across the street. But take your chances at this store and good luck!
