My family had a great day out Burks Quail Run. It is not too far from Dallas or visiting some east Texas lakes. Our guides were very friendly and accommodating. We shot a bunch of quail, pheasant, and chuckers. I can’t wait until we can go back. My dog had the time of his life chasing birds.

Our group of four had a great time at Burks Quail Run. It was a perfect little getaway. Ricky was a great guide and very friendly. After he had all the birds cleaned up he showed us where we could hog hunt. We spent the afternoon shooting targets on their 100 yard range. Unfortunately some storms moved in so we didn't hog hunt. Zach even called to check on us due to the weather. We were able to get a bonfire going and still enjoyed our evening on the beautiful property. We will definitely be back.

What a great time we had at Burks!!! Zack and Ricky went out of their way to accommodate our group of 6. We made some great memories for my oldest sons 23rd birthday. Shot soooo many birds and had a wonderful day of fellowship and fun. Ricky was very friendly and professional, he let us know every step of the way what was going on and did an excellent job working those dogs. We highly recommend spending some time with the guys at Burks, thank you again guys for a wonderful experience!????

Ricky is a phenomenal guide and dogs were very impressive! When we weren't hunting we could shoot skeet, sit by the fire or simply walk the trails through the woods. Cabin was cozy with just the right amount of rustic. Thanks guys we will be booking a hunt next year!

It was my first time doing hunting I am very thankful for Zac for his communication and being very nice. I was amazed about how fast I was able to get a hunting date. Zac even told me I can borrow his atv witch was great and very helpful. I am also thankful for Ricky the guide who was very nice and understanding he did a amazing job. If you’re looking for a hunt with really good pricing and communication and good lodging i strongly recommend this place witch I definitely come back again thank you Zac and Ricky

Ricky and Zach run a great program. Had a group of five 12 year olds and their dads and it was simply a fantastic experience. Very patient and instructive. Could not ask for better hospitality. Zach was very accommodative for our group. Ricky is an excellent guide; class act in every way. We will definitely be back!

Zach and Daryl were awesome guides, I had never hunted quail before and it was an absolute blast. Highly recommend for anyone interested in having a fun time hunting quail, pheasant or chucker.
