The jury is still out and I will try to update. Bought my car in Hughes Springs and I did purchase the premium extended warranty. Glad I did because I recently had a major issue where the flywheel and torque converter had to be replaced.Took it to Stanley for the repair as it’s closer to me than where i purchased my car. They didn’t have any loaners because they had all been wrecked or totaled. So I had to find transportation on my own. My warranty “covered” 10 days of rental but I had to pay for it and wait to be reimbursed. I ended up having to get Ford to approve an extension because my car hadn’t been repaired in 10 days (parts were late/lost). So at this point I’m back in my car….the repair seems to have been done properly as I don’t have the issues now that I had before. However I’ve had my car back now for 8 days and am still waiting to be reimbursed. (Updated: I have received most of the reimbursement I was promised and am a happy customer)The manager of the service department was who I ended up dealing with and he seems to be a pretty solid guy even though he reminds me of Johnny Fever from WKRP in Cincinnati :)

My husband and I bought a Ford ranger truck last Friday. George was our salesman as what a delightful experience as this was my first time handling a purchase of a vehicle as tho I was texting with my husband. George was very patient while the day went on as we finally came to a blessing of an agreement. I want to extend my thankfulness to him as the whole Stanley Ford team in gilmer. The people who work for this dealership are good friendly people. My wife and I ordered a 2023 F350 in January 2023 and it finally arrived July 2023. We had a small hiccup at first, but nothing major that couldn't be solved. The team there did a fantastic job treating us with respect and making sure we were comfortable. Marty kept us up to date with our trucks status and was very informative of his products. We wheeled and dealed with Sam who is the GM and he was wonderful and a pleasure to do business with. How many times do you get to make a deal with the GM himself? Sam has excellent customer service and you can see that its be instilled with the rest of the team. We then proceeded forward with Travis who did the financing with us. Once again, no issues and another excellent and wonderful person to work with. Travis has excellent communication skills, and treated us like a guest in his home. The process was so quick and painless and it was probably the fastest and easiest car deal I've ever made. At the end we were shown the features of our 23 F350 and even had our phones paired, just wow! I wish there was 10 stars I could give, just A++++ customer service, and I'd certainly go back without hesitation. Thank you all so much for a awesome experience.

This was truthfully the best customer service that I have ever had in my entire life! Everyone I talked to at the dealership was incredibly helpful and made buying a used car a wonderful experience. I especially want to thank Regina for her help. She went ABOVE and BEYOND to help our family find the perfect vehicle. I had it checked before the final purchase (my dad drilled it into my head to do that on any used car). The guys at the auto shop said that it looked like a brand new car. So guys, if you want to score HUGE points with your wife, be sure to buy a car or truck at Stanley Ford in Gilmer, Texas.

Well, I walked in, and not one came to greet me or see if I wanted to purchase anything. Maybe because I was black and everyone there was white. Not one person got up out of their chair. This is one sale they will never ever get. BYE

Just purchased a used truck from Stanley Ford in Gilmer Texas. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Mario, Travis, and George stayed very late into the evening to make sure that all my questions were answered to my satisfaction. If you are in the market for a new or used vehicle I highly recommend Stanley Ford in Gilmer Texas.

Customer service is severely lacking. I found out that my plates will be mailed today... 4 days after the paper ones have already expired. Apparently they tried to reach me to confirm the address... that I specifically gave them on the day I bought the truck and was told they would have them in the mail as soon as they came in. I have also had email communication with the salesperson, before and after those dates... none of that was mentioned. Now I'm headed out of town for two weeks with expired dealer tags. According to the girl I talked to, it's my fault they didn't send them to me. I guess they would have just kept them if I didn't call.Update: They called and made it right. Brought the plates to my house within a couple hours of leaving the review. Mistakes happen. I can accpet that. They quickly made it right, thats what counts. Changed my 1 star to a 4. Had the lady I talked to when I called, not been rude and dismissive, it would be 5 stars.

Don’t make a bad decision and buy a car here. When it comes to service this service department is terrible. Simple oil changes take over an hour and they will nickel and dime customers to death. 3% extra to use a credit card. I won’t spend another dollar in this place!

Jeremy is amazing. We have 12 fleet trucks and Stanley Ford has won our business, even though other dealerships are much closer.
