Everytime I go in here, the employees complain that they are there alone and can't take bathroom breaks. So what are they supposed to do? I don't see that at the other ones.

I waited for several minutes for someone to come to the register at 12:25 pm on Saturday 8/31/24. Self check-out was down. I asked a gentleman putting items on shelves if he could help. He said he didn't work there. The young lady came from the back and said he was training then said she was planning to get him a job. Anyway, she was checking me out and I was putting in my phone number for my coupons when she pressed total and my coupons were not entered. When I questioned if my coupons were processed, she rudely told me since items were on sale and prices were reduced for sale prices that I must be a witch because total from original price was reduced, but my coupons were not applied. Several times she called me a witch because I was requesting to have my coupons applied. After the fourth time of her calling me a witch, she finally heard that my coupons were not applied because she totaled my order before I was able to submit my phone number. She then allowed me to put in my phone number. As I was leaving the store, she continued to call me a witch to other customers in line. I live in Big Sandy, with several other Dollar Generals between Hawkins and Longview, I will Never go to that store again. Horrible customer service! Management needs to address this situation.

This store is horrible!! You have people working there that are rude and won’t help!! The management needs to be fixed because they won’t get the registers fixed. They have one self checkout that doesn’t work unless an employee runs the register. The other one is cash only because the credit card machine is broke!! The shelves are empty half the time, the cold cases are always going out so hardly any cold food or frozen food!!! This location is not that old!! Y’all need to get the corporate people to this location to fix the employees and the store!! I had to wait in line for over 20 minutes this morning to buy 3 things because the girl behind the counter wouldn’t call for help!! And when help walked by and seen there were like 5 people in line to check out, he just walked by and didn’t offer to help!!! It’s ridiculous how bad this location is!!!

Love this location.. its clean, organized and the best part is the fabulous people that work there.. Casey, Brie and Chayne , if I’m forgetting someone or misspelling their name sorry.. whenever I walk in, I’m always greeted with a big smile. They always ask if I need anything and DG should be very happy to have them on their team. Kudos to all.
