We spent a day in the park and it was amazing experience hiking and exploring the park. The rangers are very friendly and experienced. Look for events on thier website to explore more about the park. Plenty of parking , if u arrive later after 10 ok weekend you may have sometime to check in . Only suggestion I have for everyone is to prepare lot of hydration yourself you begin hike . The hikes are mid-level difficulties and plenty of places in between to rest. Picnic tables and remote restrooms are limited. Pets are welcome on hikes and parks as long as they are on leash.

This was a very enjoyable weekend camping experience. I was not able to register for my campsite online. I took the chance of driving in as the gentleman told me I could. Luckily, I found an electric and water campsite. I did have to change campsites the next day, since I didn’t have that site registered. They were very accommodating in the front office. Even though it was a very busy Easter weekend. The camping areas are kept very nice, and it is very peaceful to camp even in a tent.I have attached a video of how tame/fearless the squirrels are not believe it. Definitely put up food items or they will invade. They’re just so darn stinkin’ cute.I caught a keeper size catfish in the river. Crappie rig with worms and a bobber. Location down close to the primitive camping area where the current was a bit calmer.Playground: Several playgrounds in the area. Dinosaur themed of coarse :)~Restrooms: Very clean. Especially for a busy Easter weekend.Dog-friendliness: Lots of happy doggies!

This is probably the best I have been on. Was fun for the kids. We all had a blast. The dinosaur tracks were awesome!

Terrible job with signs, posts for the areas where you can see prints. They could have easily marked areas to look in the water as you hike along the river but nothing. Good luck finding prints. A local person showed me an area when we crossed paths on the trail but if not for him, would would have seen nothing.

Huge park with lots of trails and dinosaur tracks. Swimming areas available. Great place to have a BBQ, picnic or family gathering. Recommend bringing water shoes, river beds and swimming areas are slippery and most trails lead through the river.

Wonderful experience even though the river was higher than in the summer months. My family crossed over the rocks through the river to see the fossil dinosaur/human footprints. This certainly raises since questions for the timelines of evolution. I recommend stopping at the Christian Evidence Museum in Glen Rose, TX before going here.

Cool state park with plenty of tables, playground, hiking trails, along with dinosaur footprints of course. There's a store with toys and souvenirs, as well as volunteers providing different information about the park.Picnic area: Large picnic area with plenty of tables.

Brought my kids here for the first time. Just hiked around the blue hole trail. Very nice place. Going to go back and hit another trail the next go round. But kids loved it.

We went here to go hiking and it was so crowded we didn't think we'd get in let alone a parking space. The park service was even recommending reservations just to get in the park for our next visit, which won't happen.Restrooms: Porta a potty
