Definitely for children. Do not go as a grown person expecting something really cool and magical. There is a small museum and animatronics section which was cool and kind of scary because they would twitch. They have a gem dig that seemed popular (have to purchase dirt bag) and mini golf section (free with admission I think). Each hole for the mini golf is about 4 feet long and each hole looks almost the same. The rest of the park is just a horseshoe trail of some plastic dinosaurs in the grass. Some of them look really cool if you believe.

This place was pretty cool in that it had several activities (putt-putt, large play area, dinosaur walk, grave yard, small animated area inside, gem mining and fossil dig). The tickets are pricey but we spent 3 hours here with a 4, 10. 15. 16 year old and 2 adults. Everyone was entertained. The fossil dig only happens at certain times through the day( maybe every 2-3 hours) they sift through sand for 15 minutes and choose 3 favorite fossils (sharks tooth were the primary ones), the gem mining where you sift through the bag of rocks was pretty neat as we got several large nice rocks (better than others I have done). The animated dinosaur area was small and definitly needed some TLC. The bathrooms smelled like dirty diapers. The 2 staff members were young (teens) while one was friendly and helpful the girl just played on her phone the while time. (Which meant my kids came out the fossil dig with like 10 items bc she didn't care to enforce the 3 limit). Most of the attractions are outside so make sure weather is pleasant!! The gift shop was very reasonable and had a lot of items. Even if you just stop by the gift shop to get souvenirs you can't go wrong! The paid attraction is a 1 and done type thing. I can't see a reason to ever go back.3 stars due to price, inattentive staff, smelly bathrooms. Also I found a 2 dollar off coupon which made the online tickets more expensive when you factor in fees. Just buy there, that way you can decide to do the other paid activities (fossil and gem mining), if you want to do all the ultimate package saves a couple bucks. We did the child ultimate for the 2 little kids and 4 adults. It was like 127$

We went to this park the day after thanksgiving in the way back home. My 3 year old was so excited he couldn’t be still and was running down the path like a maniac. The dinosaurs were all so cool with info on each, there were fun and cute games and interactive activities on both ends of the trail as well as a great park. This is the first park I’ve ever seen with so many options for families to have a seat during their stay. And of course, the gift shop was a lot of fun. We got several things there as well. We spent a lot of time in the middle of the trail on the dock feeding the fish and turtles. This was such an adorable place to go and I’m so glad we stopped by. We talked about it many times since we left and intend on going again in the near future.

We all had an awesome time. The boys got to do gem mining and a fossil dig. We loved exploring the park, and all the life size dinosaurs. The store has a bunch of cool items, including authentic, and replica fossils, bones, teeth, etc.

The kids liked this experience and we had a good couple of hours walking there. It was $70 for 4 of us to walk through this attraction and we declined the fossil dig and gem mining. I feel this was pretty expensive. The dinosaurs you see are all large outdoor structures that you walk along a path to look at. It was a fun afternoon but it was expensive.

Nice place to shop for "dino" related stuff after visiting the tracks at Dinosaur Valley State Park.

This is an amazing place to take your young children to explore and be amazed at all the different dinosaurs. This causes alot of interaction between you and the kids. The four year old told her mom she was not ready to go home she had more digging to do for fossils. You don't want to forget to buy the fish food! I have never seen anything like it!

We had a great time. Most of the fun stuff does cost quite a bit of money though. But I think it was worth it. When we were there, they had some paleontologists teach us about different bones! It was a bummer to drive as far as we did only to have the museum closed for the owner's private party. Kind of annoying. You would think they could have at least discounted the entry ticket. But I think we would go again. Hopefully the museum is open next time.

We loved walking through the dinosaurs and learning about them. This place has gem mining, a fossil dig, you can feed the fish, and there's a museum. There's even a playground for the kids and a picnic area. You can definitely spend a whole day here!

What great park. So much for the kids to do and very well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

It was so boring ? it's literally a dinosaurs on random places with trees and grass. I was so disappointed since the reviews hyped it up so much , me and my sister were just laughing at how we drove an 1 an half just to see plastic dinosaurs with tress and grass??

Came up from Houston for the day and the kids had a great time. Prices were reasonable for the fossil dig and gem mining ? ⛏️ my oldest (5) had more fun than my youngest (2.5) but the gift shop was well-staffed and the souvenirs weren’t exorbitant like I expected. Museum had a cool assortment of animatronic dinosaurs which my youngest thought were real so that was fun lol. Will come again in a couple years when they’re older. Great playground!

My wife and I went here to explore some. It is definitely for kids mostly, but we enjoyed it. If it had more adult things, it would get a 5-star review.

Fun little spot outside of the Dinosaur state park. HUGE play ground for kids of all ages. A nice walking trail full of dinosaurs with brief information about each. We paid extra to sift for gems (can't remember the price but we were able to walk out with a large amount) as well as fossils (which you only get 3 small ones). There's a small walk thru museum with fossils. Great spot for families and kids.

Such a fun and simple feeling place to bring the kids. I loved that it's in nature and you can spend all day there!
