No Longer KwikCar. I've been going here 15 years, NEVER AGAIN. They've been sold and the NEW CORPORATION that's purchased this old KwikCar location will not allow me to put in the weight of oil I want in my 11 year old 130k miles vehicle.. they insist on putting in a 0WT, or 5WT Oil if that's what the OEM calls for. 0wt oils are to gain a fraction of a MPG at the expense of engine life..
They refused to let me sign something, such as their receipt, stating what Oil I wanted, which I offered to do. They wouldn't do that inspite if what their reply below implies.

Amber, the young lady who is the store manager, is incredible. I went there with the following problem at the end of April, 2025. I thought that I had stepped back into the 70s and 80s due to her customer care. She went above and beyond taking care of a simple lightbulb replacement that I was not in the position of doing.
I can’t say a lot about previous management because I haven’t always left there satisfied.
I think any of my future visits will be good since it is such a rare thing to see customer service like the customer care I received today, in today’s world.
Businesses need more people like her.

I've been to other Kwik Kar locations before, and had an outstanding experience, so I thought I'd run into this one after work today and get an oil change and inspection. I was told that because I live in a different county, they couldn't do the inspection. She said she's not licensed to do a safety inspection. Only the emissions. No big deal. Given that after January 1st, inspections will no longer be required, I can understand that completely.
Then she tells me my total, which is $30+ more than I've ever paid at any other location. They put synthetic in my car without asking me. She claimed that is what was in it before, but I called the location I went to previously, and they told me synthetic was not what they put in my car. I really wanted to like this place, but they lied to me, and they didn't communicate with me. I cant trust them. If I could give zero stars I would. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!
