Stone Hut Fossil Shop is a must see located near Dinosaur Valley State Park. The owner is one of the most genuine, personable, and kind people, offering great hospitality and entertainment. He is very knowledgeable and generous with his time and information on the area, often telling jokes and stories. The shop has a massive collection including local fossils, rocks, meteorites, petrified wood, ammonites, trilobites, and arrowheads, with items also bought from the wholesale show in Tucson. Everything is very reasonably priced and he is more than willing to make a deal. He even gives free fossils, including to children who dig in the sand-pile. It is a delightful highlight, the best stop for fossils in the area, and a great resource for collectors and museums.

The man running the shop is very knowledgeable and accommodating. He was kind to my son, gave us waters and talked about fossils and rocks with my son as well as gave us info for upcoming events. The dig was super fun and we took home a lot of neat things.
