“We stopped in while exploring downtown Gonzales. We fell on love with this shop. It is filled with so many treasures. The owner is so friendly and helpful. Her mother was the treasure of the day. I hope she got her cookie! I can't wait to visit again!”

“We had an amazing shopping experience! Treasures were found in every corner. From a minature coke bottle to my round metal Texas circle to hang outside on my fireplace. Thank you for a wonderful shopping experience!”

“A beautiful shop, full of gorgeous items you can buy! Walking into this lovely historic home is as if you're stepping inside a Hallmark card or movie! It truly is that charming and wonderful, not to mention the angels who work here are so warm and inviting. After sharing my love for historical architecture, they gave us a tour of the home including the area that is used as a bed and breakfast too ! It truly made my day, and they go above and beyond with anyone who walks in.”

“I love this place. I make a visit a couple of times a year. I agree with Kevin B., who said you can't replace history. If it costs a little extra, think of the labor involved in hunting down houses or businesses that are being torn down and possibly charge you to remove things, the actual labor in removing these parts and pieces without damaging them, and the time and effort to haul them back to the shop. You can buy cheaply made clothes from China, but preserving what is old, has character, and will likely last two to three times longer than new stuff (referring to floors and windows, etc.) is not something where you can cut corners. What's more, I've found some really unusual stuff like frames for adobe brick making that sold for a song. They make great wall frames. I've never been to another place that measures up to Discovery.”
