When we began making arrangements shortly before my father passed away, we visited several funeral homes in Luling and Gonzales. Every place we check into was charging $13,000 or higher for a minimal graveside service. On top of everyone else’s unaffordable prices, many of the funeral home directors behaved like used car salesmen, constantly trying to upsell us on every little thing. My mom was so stressed out because every place we called was so far out of her price range. Then we found Mr. Harris at the Harris Funeral Home and things got so much better!
Not only did Mr. Harris have the best prices in town, but he was one of the kindest, caring, and most patient people I’ve ever met. You won’t find a sweeter soul than this man. His presence is soothing and he treats his profession with the empathy, compassion, and dignity that it deserves.
