This was literally my first time ever being in Gonzales but their Walmart is actually pretty fire, seriously there is a whole subway in there. Plus there was a lot of cool stuff in there, plus the employees were pretty nice to me once I told them that this was the first time in Gonzales. Would highly recommend.

The automotive department is poorly run. If team members decide not to show up, they shut services down, so no oil changes, no tire repair or new tires sales/installations, etc. I came in for a new tire, well with hours of operation (3 pm) lights were turned off, and shop was closed. The Auto Care Manager Connor or his Service Manager Carlos should be stepping in, getting their hands dirty if that’s what it takes to keep the auto department open, and get things done. Sadly, when they’re here, team members slow walk their jobs and lack motivation/supervision is apparent. I’ve personally seen the sales attendant ignore a ringing phone, and wonder off, leaving his area unattended, with customers waiting. There’s a lack of communication with customers, who are left to guess what’s going on. You’d think this was a government facility with its lack of care or concern for customer service. It all starts with the Gonzales store manager and overall employee expectations, which must be low. Please do better Walmart.

I always enjoy shopping at any Walmart as the employees are always courteous and helpful. The stores are clean and I always find my products in stock. The prices are mostly better than the competitors and plenty of parking.

I've been in automotive for 2 hours. My truck has been on the rack for 1 hour. They're not busy. It's still not ready. Never again !

This place literally has two check out lines. The rest of area is self-check out. Leave it to Walmart to try and make customers their employees. I will not shop at this location again.
