Best Side Mercantile is a great little grocery store that makes it easy to get what is needed near the lake. The shop has many necessities and novelties packed into the space, and staff are friendly and professional. They even gave a treat to a customer's fur child. The store saves customers a 25‑minute drive into town. It is stocked with steaks, produce, beer, wine, and a southern fried pickle dip, plus a boat and tackle section with live minnows, an ice chest, and t‑shirts. Prices are fair, similar to Walmart, and the community thanks the store for being there.
Excellent small local store with the best dang minnows I’ve ever seen. Not one dead one in three days of keeping them.

This is such a great little grocery store! It makes it so much easier to just show up at the lake and go there to get what you need! :)

The Best Side Mercantile has so many things from necessities to novelties. I can't believe how much is packed into that place!! They were very nice and even offered my fur child (dog) a treat. We made a couple trips there for items that saved us a 25 minute drive (one way) into town to get. We are so grateful they are there!
