Wow. After 15 years, I just emptied the last of three storage units I'd rented from Champion. Circumstances and finances change, and it was time to pull off the bandage, but it still felt as though I was leaving a friend behind.
Mark Britt of Champion Storage is a stand-up guy. For 15 years he provided a safe and secure place for our household overflow and for my mother-in-law's furniture when she moved in with us. Mark takes his responsibility to provide that place seriously even if we're working against our own interest. "Hey, Scott. It's been a few hours. Did you mean to leave your unit open?" I can't remember how many times I've received a phone call like that.
When my 80-year old mother-in-law would visit her unit, Mark would keep an eye on her to ensure her safety. You can't buy peace of mind like that; that's the sign of a good person.
Do not hesitate to trust your possessions to Champion Storage; Mark will have your back.

They don't answer there phone. Other business such as hood county roofing use this address and solicit the streets with there business card. It might be a good idea for certain people like Jordan T. to be more respectful when knocking on a persons door. No Soliciting doesn't mean act like a punk.

I stored my 1979 MGB at Champion for a year. The facility was excellent for what I wanted for my car. The price was very reasonable. Mark responded to my emails/calls and provided the service I needed.

Worst customer service ever! They don't bill you, they don't notify you if they lose a check - note I said lose. They aren't ever in the office, so their payment drop is a mail slot in the door without any type of baske, apparently. Trailer storage is expensive for what it is - an unimproved,rocky, muddy field which wreaks havoc on your vehicle.

Non-existent management and customer service. The storage area for trailers and boats is not maintained, rocky and very often so muddy it's hard to pull through and is horrible to maneuver through.
