I spent 55 minutes on the phone trying to set up my service. Got on the schedule a week out. Took half a day off work. No one showed up. No call no show. I get an email the next morning saying they don’t provide services in my area. My neighbors use them. Terrible company. I’ll make sure everyone in my neighborhood drops them.

The very worst internet provider of all time, but unfortunately they hold the monopoly off service over most of rural America.

Dont use this company!Waiting for over 2 hours on hold to get someone to help me, when I did they aren't helpful. Wifi box went out they say they going to over night one, lady said it was ordered and hung up. Never gave me a tracking number or anything about it. Now I'm on hold for another 2 hrs trying to get some info. Worst company I've ever dealt with.if I could they get a negative 5 ?

Windstream in my area didn't have enough slots so everyone in my neighborhood has two slots, me only one, and yet I pay the same as my neighbors, so to no avail my service dc's a bunch, and we mostly all feel left behind by Windstream, so I am looking forward to another company who ACTUALLY cares, to provide high speed internet in Lakeside village!

You’re better off driving to McDonald’s for wifi than using these crooks. They won’t even answer the phone. I pay over $100 a month for internet alone and I can’t even have good enough internet to write this post.

Can you in good conscience charge people for a service you do not provide. ? If you are Windstream internet you sure can.There is no one giving less F#@ks than Windstream. There is no one giving less support. Like a Saturday nite live skitt . "We are internet providers we don't care ,we don't have to"

They know you live in a rural location and have no other options, and they treat you that way. I bought the exact same modem they use and the internet will not work with it so don’t think you can get out of renting their modem for $10 a month.

perfect internet provider if you need to send emails to your grandson for $97 a month❤️any other than that, i had no wifi for 2 entire days, then it got fixed for 20 minutes and then i didn't have wifi again for about half hour, and the next day (today) i haven't had wifi for a whole hour (at the time of writing this), and any other time that it ''works'', videos buffer a lot, and i keep getting disconnected from online gaming matches every 5 minutes.the service is worth only like $25 max. can't wait for starlink to come to the area next year.(only positive things are customer service and the workers that come in time to install the internet, hope they're all paid fairly)

It started with the installation. It took an extra week and everyday I received a phone call saying "oh it will be tomorrow something came up". Now I am not paying what they told me I would be paying for internet, in fact I am paying $45 a month more. It has gone up $15 a month just in the last 6 months. And they have no explanation when asked why. Internet is internet they are not providing anything special nor different from when I signed up. I will definitely be shopping for a different internet provider.

I’m convinced that civilizations without consistent electricity get better internet service than windstream provides. If someone told me that a bunch of pigeons in a trench coat ran the company, it would come at no surprise to me. When I got AOL internet in the mail, it was faster and more reliable. It’s theft what they’re doing here.

The worst internet service provider we’ve ever had. Constant outages.. the fact we pay for 1 GBPS service, but essentially get dial up performance blows my mind.

Terrible service, always goes out. They also dropped us and said they no longer service this area after I paid them 200 dollars. Absolutely don’t go through them they are a scam.
