I won’t leave my dog here let alone rent a car from this location! Customer Service was HORRIBLE with poor communication. Won’t visit this location ever again if I have a choice! I rent a vehicle online. Paid for and everything! Was paid for by the company. Called and asked what was needed to pick up the car. Get there and am told I can’t get the car because my company rented the vehicle and I didn’t have the company card! Why didn’t you say that BEFORE I got there?! Then had an attitude about me! Yeah, I’m good. I won’t be back!

Only 1 bad experience here!! Car was released without exterior wasn’t cleaned and they asked me for 50$ cleaning charge afterwards!! Said it was Excessively dirty!!!

The staff is never welcoming or friendly. I normally rent from this location because it’s the most convenient for me, but this will be the last time. The cars are always disgusting and every time I have to spend my money to get it cleaned. Never again.

I recently had a rental experience at an Avis location and I must say it was extremely disappointing. I feel compelled to share my experience to prevent others from going through the same ordeal.Firstly, the condition of the car was unacceptable. While the exterior being filthy wasn't a major concern, the state of the office was simply appalling. It was dirty and neglected, which immediately set a negative tone for the entire rental process.To make matters worse, I was charged for fuel despite returning the car with a higher level than it was given to me. I only drove the Kia Rio a total of 24 miles during my rental period. It is unreasonable to expect that I would need to put in 4 gallons of gas. At the gas station, which was merely 0.5 miles away from the rental facility, I already added 3 gallons. However, Leon, the employee at the facility, insisted on charging me for an additional gallon. This was an unfair and unfounded charge.Additionally, the treatment I received regarding my corporate discount was utterly disrespectful. I provided several forms of identification, including my work shirt, recent paystubs, and a matching ID to validate my eligibility for the corporate discount. Despite this, Leon seemed to question my entitlement to the discount and even went as far as requesting paper copies of my paystubs. Such unnecessary hurdles were highly unprofessional and disrespectful.Moreover, I was misled by the employee when I inquired about returning the rental early and receiving a refund for the unused days. Leon adamantly claimed that this was not possible, which I later discovered was completely false. This misinformation caused unnecessary inconvenience and financial loss on my end.Overall, my experience at this location was nothing short of abysmal. The unclean office, unjust fuel charges, disrespectful treatment regarding my corporate discount, and the misinformation provided regarding early returns were unacceptable.I advise everyone to avoid this location entirely. Their lack of professionalism, dishonesty, and disregard for customer satisfaction make them an establishment that should be avoided at all costs.

Rented at Avis in Grand Prairie this office staff did a great job. A bit understaffed for the number of clients but did a great job. Thanks Avis!

We got stranded in Dallas over this awful winter storm Elliot, Southwest and every transportation company at the airport truly left us and thousands of people with no options to get home. A girl at another Avis location in Grand Prairie told us our Avis reservation somehow wasn’t available and basically told us to leave and figure it out somewhere else. She rudely sent us here to this location off 360 and the incredible man (who has worked for Avis for 38 years!) was our absolute hero and got us a car. We didn’t get his name but he was a wonderful gentleman who saw we were about to end up lost here over Christmas and helped us out. Thank you thank you thank you to the only kind and helpful person in all of Dallas today. ❤️

The place is outdated but the car was cleanThe person who brought the car up and cleaned it was very nice. The price was amazing .Bathroom needs attention and the building needs an upgrade. 3.75 stars

This Avis needs to be shut down.Horrible customer service and cars.Leon is a horrible representative for Avis.Worst rental experience in my lifetime.The look of this rental establishment speaks for itself.Definitely, bad energy all around!!!!!

The gentleman who helped us out was ANDRICK. He was extremely polite and helpful, he made it a very quick and easy experience. I would recommend this location based on him alone.EDIT: I had to keep the car that I had for a few more days, I called and the lady on the phone her name is NIKKI, she was so polite and very helpful. There is a wonderful staff at this location. Thank you both for making it so easy!

Car was fine, but lots of miscommunication between Avis central and the Avis retail locations. We rented in Texas to drive to Canada (because lights were terrible due to COVID). We called ahead to make sure we had all the documentation to cross the border. Avis central said to just ask for a "Non-Resident Insurance Card". At pickup, they said they didn't have them and to pick one up in an Avis location at a border state. Well, no one seemed to know what that was when we called on the trip. 4 hours and many call attempts, disconnects, waiting on hold etc later we found out that we also needed our registration, which didn't come with the car, so we basically needed to switch the car before getting into Canada. We eventually found a location that had something relatively close to switch into, though not as good (we had a van that we preferred because more fuel efficient and more space inside, but they only had an SUV). Still, it worked. But that took anther 3 hours of finding a vehicle, making sure it had the right documentation, driving to the location, and moving our stuff. All of this with screaming young kids in the back. We asked for some refund of some type and were offered a free 1 day rental on another day. Sorry, not sufficient. My time is worth more. I won't use Avis again. Just a lot of terrible communication between Avis locations and Avis central, no clear understanding, and 1 particularly rude Avis rep.
