“If you want to find beautiful exhibit grade gun stock blanks you must take a look at Bestgunstocks in Mansfield. I contacted Mehrdad Fanousi the owner and expressed an interest in several of his blanks posted on his site. When I arrived he had pre pulled the blanks and had the on a table for viewing. Was I glad because he had over 650 blanks to choose from. The wood was striking and he was so accommodating and knowledgeable. After much deliberation I purchased a beautiful Turkish marbled blank for my over and under. Mehrdad even had a long list of stock makers that he works with. Getting good referrals was a great help for me to complete my stock build.While visiting Mehrdad’s wife brought out some wonderful Turkish coffee and some home made treats. Good coffee viewing all these exhibit grade gun blanks was really a great experience. If you are in the market for an exceptional wood selection experience I strongly suggest contacting Mehrdad Fanousi.”
