They really don’t take mental health seriously I’ve been trying to get more medicine for my brother and never answer I leave voicemails and call almost every day and I never get no response, places like this need to be closed down.

they completely suck been begging for mental help for 4 weeks now . with NO HELP NO ANSWERS FROM MY DOCTOR “mya” and im to the point where im hit bottom . and the office people SUCK 100 percent with trying to help you in any ways . suppose to help people mentally ?! and all they have done is drained me . im tired of begging for help to get ignored

Went in to take my child to get seen and the lady name Maya first of all violated HIPPA she was asking my child question with the door open to where people can hear our conversations and we can hear theirs. We went in under the impression this would be her therapy session and after she spoke and asked personal questions to my child one again with the door open this person Maya wouldn't answer my questions and kept telling me to speak to a manager all rudely without answer the questions i had,my child has waited a month to see a therapist and still nothing. This is not the place to take your child when wanting to seek mental health and would not recommend it.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My daughter received services through this location and from the start it has been one of the most disappointing experiences we have had anywhere. Some counselors have communication issues and don’t update you on progress of your child..2 months of back and forth about the issue so we changed counselors only to find the “new” counselor was let go a week before starting sessions…over a month later I get a call from ANOTHER counselor saying she would text me link so that my daughter can get on zoom for her session..NEVER happened..here we are 2 months later and still absolutely no services for my child. I have tried calling numerous times but am always forwarded to a voicemail. I will be discontinuing my daughter’s services at Grand Prairie metrocare because of their lack of care and attention for their patients. They have absolutely no issue billing insurance on time and having people drive almost a hour to come in for 5 min appointments for nothing. My child has had services through metrocare for a total of 3 years now between 2 locations and we have yet to receive any kind of diagnosis. I’m convinced they merely concerned about making money from insurance and patients who deserve better. RUN and get services elsewhere!

Only thing I have to say , is the woman in pharmacy has an attitude when talking back to patients, just cause she’s having a bad day on how people talk to her , she shouldn’t be rude back when patients have questions about their medication . She does not need to communicate back rudely . Her look says it all and her voice .

Maya is very incompetent and would only remember stuff for 30sec. She needs to seek help. Lava is short tempered and only in business for our tax money.

We have been begging for a therapist for my teenage suicidal daughter for months and months and not one therapist has called us since we had our last one in March. They’ll hook you up with needed meds with no problem. But to get a decent therapist.. you’re better off looking somewhere else.

It's ok if you don't have "complicated" or more complex issues. They do provide medication which can be free if you qualify for NIPA. The type of medication you can get is limited. There seems to be great confusion about what can be done regarding controlled medications and misinformation given to clients. That was extremely frustrating for me. Also, Dr. Shahed did not listen well. During a 15 minute appointment, she kept interrupting me then tells me she disagrees with what I'm saying about my symptoms.

Wish I could give negative stars. Honestly, this place is a JOKE. Always blaming being short staffed. I really don’t care. I am bipolar, and they will not refill the meds I have been on for 10 years. TEN YEARS. REASON? Nurse won’t call in the meds because my appt is a week away. I JUST WENT IN TO GIVE BLOOD. Not to mention still haven’t gotten a call about the results either. Imagine that. So needless to say, after calling everyday, leaving messages… nothing. I work 8-6 m-f. I can’t physically go in, so today after 3 calls with the useless staff, they provided me with the crisis hotline number. Actually, no they didn’t. It was another location. I have been playing this game with them since 2 weeks before I was even out of my meds. I am on LITHIUM, you mess with those levels and it’s a domino effect. F this place. D O N T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!!!!!!! Can’t wait til my insurance kicks in and I can actually find a place who gives a s***. I really don’t care who reads or sees this. Something HAS to be done about mental health in this county.

I would not recommend this location. They were extremely rude. I took my sister the other day. My sister was not feeling well at all. I asked to speak with a manager. This girl named Mikayla came. She was so rude and disrespectful. They need to work on their customer service.
