The manager is rude and accusatory. We were there for a ball tournament and while at the park during a game we were notified that we were being locked out of our rooms. The manager, Lawanda, stated we broke items that were damaged before we got there. I found this out by talking to an employee before there was a "problem". The elevator was broken but did not have any signage on it until after one of our group members got stuck on it. Then, we were told it was broken. However, it wasn't locked out or tagged out. The things were accused of damaging were a window, water pipe, & washing machine. Furthermore, when I was asking how to use the washing machine (not knowing it was broken), I was taken to a room marked "employees only" and was able to use their washer because "the washing machine for guests had been down since early last week." This, after we arrived on a Thursday. Then, when asked for proof to accompany the allegations, we were told by the manager, that she would only show it to the police. So, we called the police, the officer was not shown proof of the "damage" done by members of our party".I think there is a management problem at this location, and rather than be accountable for the issues that exist, a team of people from out of state were accused, with no proof. I have emailed her asking to see evidence, to no avail. I have been a long standing user of this chain for ball tournaments. We have never been kicked out. When I gave my review on their site, I received an email which stated that the employees were threatened by members of our group. Well, if this were true, the police should've been notified and action taken, however, the only time the police were there while we were is when we called them to get our stuff out of the rooms we had reserved through the end of the week. We were refunded the amount of one night, as we obviously did not stay. We were given 15% off our bill because of the elevator as well. However, I do not take kindly to false accusations of any kind.On a positive note, the breakfast was good, well, except for the coffee which was burned one morning. But, compared to the other things, it's very minor.

I found this place with an 8.9 rating on Price Line. This was more like a 6.0 rating IMO. Room was dated, but the interior was nice. You can tell it was renovated. Room reeked of cleaning solutions when we arrived. What really made us mad was the person preparing the breakfast, a middle age white lady. I asked her a question she refused to answer. I forget what the question was but it was something like will you have sausage. Anyways, I had left and my wife was still getting food. She made a condescending remark like 'does it look like we have sausage'? She knew we were together, and just wanted to send a message. She did this to other customers too as we paid attention to her when my wife sat down and told me what she did.If I were the owner, I would FIRE her immediately. There are no saving people like that, and she should NOT be in customer service or the hospitality business. Our stay was Sept 11-12, if the owner wants to know who it was.

Out of the hotels I've been too in the DFW area, this one wasn't bad. If it's your first time here, definitely trust your Google Maps app about getting here, it's in an odd ball location. There's alot of great places in walking distance too. The hotel offers breakfast during Covid but the staff member has to make your food as you can't really see what's really there to offer. Their grab and go snacks aren't the best. The hotel features a pool, which is awesome. Oh! There's a hot tub too! That's a plus. The room and amenities are great. I had to swap my room out because the TV was apparently broken when I walked in. My second room, absolutely no issues. Housekeeping was respectful of my wishes of not coming in for any services. Front desk is friendly. Parking gets really packed at night. All in all, average place.

Management can't get their act together to return my phone call or refund my money. Staff was rude in person and over the phone. Plenty of other nice hotels in the area. Stay at those.

Abused and attached by worker at 7/9/29 @ early morning. Had hotel room booked, and asked for bag left at desk. And asked why it couldnt be sent to room. Verbally asulsted, and threatened me. Locked me out of room. Called police because I asked for room key.. said I was threat. Worst place ever. Stayed at hoiday inn for 5 years plus, never again. Sent mesg on face book. With no reply. Why you hire abusive power hungry people like Ryan who was working at early morning shift Aug 9 2019. Who kicks people out there room for asking for there bag that was left at desk. Calling the police? Hanging up phone on multiple people trying to help me get my stuff!

It's an older hotel, but it's ok. Just ok. What is not OK is that they put a hold on your card for incidentals in the amount of $100. That is crazy. I travel for business, staying in hotels 2-3 times a week. I've never seen a incidental charge over $50, and that's rare. For a $109 room, a $100 incidental charge is incredible. I go back in two weeks and I won't be starting here. I'll stay in one of the numerous other choices in the area.

Nice mid-priced hotel room for the week. Breakfast, cookies, and friendly staff make up for anything the place is lacking. Parking is excellent and free! Nearby restaurants in walking distance make for a convenient dinner. I enjoyed my stay.

I was not impressed with my stay at this hotel, to start the night there was a strange smell as soon as we walked in the door, then the heater/thermostat was not working...when they got it to work it make the most annoying loud sound every time it turned on. 2 of the 3 phones in the room did not work.. On the other hand they had a good variety of breakfast, the only down side was it wasn't the best tasting.. costumer service was good though.

My room was recently remodeled, so it wasn't too bad, but wasn't as nice as another Holiday Inn Express I stayed in the previous 2 nights. There was a refrigerator in the room, but it wasn't plugged in. Wifi was poor - weak signal in my room (room 401). My cousin saw a $99 holiday deal in the Grand Prairie utility bill, but the hotel staff were not aware of it and would not honor it. My cousin called the hotel, as well, but no luck getting that rate. I won't stay here again. Update: I received a letter from IHG a few months later which said that my credit card information was compromised due to malware. This was the only IHG hotel I used during the affected period.

Free cookies, free water bottles, free mints, complimentary breakfast- I am digging all these freebies. Also there's a microwave and fridge in my room which is ballin. Oh yeah and the best part is there's actually good lighting in the bedroom area if you flip the switch between the outlets. I hate low lighted bedroom spaces so this made me very happy. I really enjoyed my stay here. They also have free cookies Monday through Thursday!! They also have a continental breakfast which had more options than I am used to. I appreciated the excellent quality of the baked goods as well. I was tempted to take a muffin with me as snack for later but it's too messy (and delicious) to not eat immediately. I would stay here again! Loved: - Chocolate Muffin - Egg White and Peppers Omelette - Sausage Liked: - Turkey Sausage Ok: - Cheese Omelette

I enjoyed my stay here. There's lots of little freebies. The room was tidy and had plenty of counter space in both the bathroom and the bedroom. I liked the amenities. I don't always get a mini fridge and microwave in my room and while I didn't use it this trip it's good to know for future reference when I am looking for a hotel. There was even a good quality coffeemaker with good quality coffee. I could tell and I don't even drink coffe! The only bad thing was the bathroom curtain is not that great so a lot of water spilled out when I used it. I would stay here or in one of the other locations of this chain again.

I am so thankful for this hotel. They took us in early in the morning before normal check-in from a horrific experience at another hotel. The ladies at the front desk were very accommodating. The "emergency" room they provided was small but perfect and clean and updated. The hotel is conveniently close to everything. Blessings to this place!!! I am sooo appreciative of them taking us in at the last minute and providing a lovely, updated, clean, spacious, safe place to stay. They reassured us that our stay will be great. They were correct!! Thank you ladies!! I send you TONS of blessings to you. I didn't give a 5 star cause they are under construction to update this hotel that is turning out lovely, BTW. I just didn't know until I arrived. It just smelled like fresh paint the construction did not bother us at all. They were actually very quiet for as much upgrading work they are doing for a better and great experience. They are doing a great job!!

I am gonna give this a 3 because last time we stayed here I had a horrible check in experience. FYI they do not accept pets. It's not on their website like it should be. I brought two 1 lb shitzu with me and they were in a carrier. We were 3 hours away from home and here for a job for two weeks. When I was advised no pets I asked if I could at least keep them here for the night and then I would drive them all the way back. Before I could get the answer I had to wait outside with the puppies in the car for over a hour before the manager came back. She told me no, I could go to another hotel or keep the puppies in the car. It was 80* outside. I ended up staying at different hotel for the night while my husband stayed here. Now this time around no issues at check in, my husband was upgraded. The desk clerk (who was the same one as before) was pleasant. The room I would give a 2. The bed a 5, the carpet and furniture has stains on it. You know the type of stains you do not even wanna lay your dirty clothes on. The room it's self looks clean. They offer a great selection for breakfast so there is no complaints there. This place is located in a shopping center. Grocery store, Wing Stop, Donut shop, Subway, IHOP is next door, Cheddars, BBQ, and Movie Theater right across parking lot this doesn't even include across the street. Chipotle, Denny's, McDonalds, Chilis and another Movie Theater. There is a lot more but that is to name a few. Shopping mall two exits away. So if your here on business and don't wanna drive after your off then you have lots of dinner choices to choose from.
