About Morton Salt
Morton Salt is a loading facility with a very helpful and professional staff. The people are great, friendly, super nice, and top rate. The process involves a pre-check in by phone at the gate. After entering, drivers park on the right and walk around to the shipping office to check in before returning to their truck to wait for a call. The docking for loading is a little challenging but not bad. It is described as a fun little challenge, requiring drivers to go up a hill to the right and then back in. Dock 6 is a blind back where a spotter is needed. Despite this, the process is painless and they load quickly. There is a small staging area inside the gate that fits about eight to ten trucks for those waiting. The yard can have many pallets stacked around. Trailers must be clean with no visible debris and will be inspected; they should be dry and the refer turned off until loading. Overall, it is a great stop with quick service.

This place is the best in the world that I can see to load. At first I was afraid to get here. I looked at bad comments but on the contrary, the people here are very friendly. They almost take you by the hand if you don't know how and they load quickly. I give them 100%.

Great stop. Folks there were top rate. Super nice. Docking for loading just a little challenging. Not dad. Pre-check in by phone at gate. Park on right after entering past gate. Walk around back to shipping office that is up dock stairs.

Appt time 2pm. Arrived at 10 am. Out before 12.No parking over night, but there is a staging area that fits 8 or 9 trucksn inside the gate, while you wait for your dock assignment.
