I have been renting my car from Avis grapevine for more than a year .. they are quite accommodating and very friendly . They have a variety of cars and keep your requirement in mind . Megan and Lani have been quite mindful .

Outstanding Service – Highly Recommended!
This was, without a doubt, the best rental experience I’ve ever had. Megan went above and beyond to assist my group, even though we arrived disorganized and without a clear plan. Her patience, professionalism, and friendly demeanor made the entire process smooth and stress-free.
What stood out even more was how consistently attentive and courteous she was with other customers as well. Megan is truly a standout team member at Avis, and her commitment to excellent service deserves recognition.

DO NOT Rent from here.
I should have read the reviews before hand. I also had several charges I did not authorize put on my bill from this location.
They put a fuel charge I did not give verbal concent or ask for. They added a roadside assistance also. Never in 20 years of renting from Budget or Avis have I had to spend so much time on the phone trying to get my bill correct.
The vehicle was also not very clean and had an odd smell to it.

BEWARE of this location!! They will not have the vehicle that you booked and the one they give you will be dirty. There was trash in the backseat and some sticky drink spilled on the dashboard with flies stuck to it. My boyfriend rented it but I had to endure the ride and the battle that ensued with customer service when we realized that there was no rental agreement number because in that slot they put “locally owned business”. I guess that’s how they get around the liability. If you call customer service, they want the rental agreement number and if you don’t have it, they won’t help you. Between missing an important move in, sitting at a truck stop for 3 hours arguing with customer service and then having to call a tow truck ourselves, this was a nightmare and the longest day of my life. They should not be allowed to carry the Avis/Budget logo.

As a loyal Avis customer for more than a decade, I had nothing but wonderful things to say...until now. My recent experience has to be by far the worse showcase of customer service and care I have ever experience, and it is an absolute disgrace that the company's motto is "We Try Harder".
I made a reservation, in advance, at this location for a pick up truck. We arrived, and the "owner"/"manager" had none available at the time or any mid size to large SUVS. She continues to say that she is expecting a truck shortly, however the truck is a specialty vehicle which require a minimum of two day rental with a major credit card. After questioning that, she told me verbatim that the truck is listed as specialty vehicle within the Terms and Conditions. The problem with this is that anyone who has made a reservation online knows that there are things that will prevent them from booking (i.e. location hours, sold out vehicles, etc.). I only needed the truck for one day and there was NEVER a prompt saying that I needed to book for two. Also, we researched the Terms and Conditions afterwards and find no such wording as "specialty" or any mentioning of such rates.
We were in a bit of a hurry so we needed a vehicle and all she had were Budget EV cargo vans. We are driving across state to help my son move in. Knowing where we were going, she strongly claimed that the EV van a great vehicle for it and they were having a promotion. I have heard somethings about EVs but nothing prepared us what was about to happen. Btw, she had a line of EV cargo vans, so I assume she was either getting kickbacks or her tactics was just to pocket more money from people. We had to arrive on campus at a certain time so we took what we could.
When we got the truck, it wasn't clean and we learned quickly that EVs are NOT designed for long distance driving. Readily anticipating upcoming charging stations within the heart of the state, we figured our trip will take much longer due to the wait time. We only drove 60 miles and already had to recharge. After driving another 70 miles, we had to stop to recharge only this time the place we went to did not have any working stations. Anther place nearby was not even EV charging station: thanks Plugshare. After driving around to other stations in nearby towns, it was the same problem: they were either not working or not available for use. The rental did not have an adapter so it was not compatible for Tesla stations. So, at this point we found ourselves stranded due to the low battery.
Avis and Budget Roadside and Customer Care made the situation even worse in how they handled the matter. There was a serious lack of sympathy, professionalism, courtesy, and urgency. It was as if they were dragging their feet and only wanted a paycheck. I called Roadside and gave them my information. They asked for a Rental Agreement number. I did not have one in the signed paperwork. They forward me to Customer Care and it was the same thing. Not only I did not have a rental agreement number but they claim they could not find my reservation at all. I was on the phone with them and roadside for nearly three hours, and had spoken with at least 6 to 7 personnel, including a so-called supervisor. At this point, I had given them everything I could: confirmation number, drivers license, customer reference number, place where I rented to vehicle, plate numbers, reservation number, etc. And they still could not find my information in the database! It was the same lame excuse: no rental agreement number, no assistance. The temperature was well over 100 degrees outside and we just wanted to get back home at this point. We had already missed my son's college move-in day.
After being stranded for several hours, I had to order us a tow to return back to the original charging station about 70 miles away. We eventually made it home but it was awfully late. At this point, I want my money back!! I went f

When I arrived I was told they did not have any vehicles, regardless of my confirmation and reserved vehicle. I explained that I called customer service before coming to the store for pickup, and was advised my vehicle was ready for pickup. The lady at the front desk was very rude and unhelpful with the situation. Not a good experience and I will not use Avis again.

We rented a minivan the night before pickup. Arrived to pick it up and were told our vehicle was not available despite confirming with customer service. Told to call customer service for a refund

Meghan was extremely helpful in getting me a car that met my needs. I rent from this location often and she always works to exceed my expectations. She is a terrific representative of Avis and hasn’t let me down yet.

The ONLY reason i go to this location is because of Meghan and Montana! :) I had to rent cars for all of 2023 basically. Getting back and forth to work/daycare/school etc was a nightmare at first and they made it a breeze. I would say this location is only open because of them if you ask me. Thanks guys ?

Came in same day because our flight was delayed and the airport rental was closed when we got in. I was super pissed with the lack of customer service from Avis up until this point, but Megan and Montana were very helpful. They were able to get us a vehicle quickly and were very personable. Thankfully they were able to turn our experience around and get us on the road. Truck stinks like cigs, but is better than nothing.
