If I could give zero stars I would regarding their products and customer service. I dropped off my daughter’s silver college ring just to be cleaned. When I picked it up they had antiqued it! They took it into the back and I could hear them using a machine to try and scrape out the black. Gave it back to me and it was all scratched and dull. I told them it was unacceptable. They returned it to their jeweler. No apology given. Weeks later I went to pick it up and it looked the same. No apology. They sent it to Balfour. Several weeks later I went to pick it up and it still did not look good. The ring wasn’t even a year old. They sent it back to Balfour. Several weeks later we finally got it back it good condition. Still no apology. No refund. During the entire process from mid December to mid April we never got one apology and they made us feel like we were putting them out. I would never recommend them.

Brought my son’s watch in for a battery replacement and upon receiving it back found that the chronograph buttons didn’t work properly (they worked fine when taken in). Returned it to them for correction, and when picked up found that they still didn’t work and that they had bent the second hand (presumably trying to line it up with 12 on the dial). I’m unwilling to take it back, since they have already damaged it twice. I’d think twice before using them.Follow-up:Found out from a watchmaker that setting the second hand is easily done (I could have done it), which makes me wonder why Bermuda Gold was apparently unaware of this simple method. It took about a minute to do using the crown and buttons.However, it cost $65 to repair the second hand Bermuda Gold damaged. See the picture of the second hand, which when pulled out of the case was at a 30 degree angle from the plane of the other hands. Embarrassing for them, costly for me.

Excellent service! I dropped my ring off on Tuesday for repair and got it back on Thursday that same week. I was so relieved that it could be repaired. They were kind & easy to talk to and the repair cost less than $30 (for sterling silver). I highly recommend this local G-vine jeweler!

Update: The owner did contact me and acknowledged that mistakes were made on every level, except that I eventually did get my ring back. No compensation for the delay, lack of follow up, not doing the work on site. She did say this was not the norm. I seldom post reviews, but I felt this experience needed to be shared.I took a silver ring to be sized, was told one week, $50 because "we have to take special care of the pearl". After 10 days, I checked on it, it was not ready. After almost a month, they still had not called me so I called. They called me back to say it wasn't back from the jeweler in Dallas. Thinking I was supporting local business, I was surprised to learn my ring had been sent out, hence the excessive charge to ship and resize. First, I was not told my ring was shipping out, second they didn't bother to check on the status, third I imagine part of the expense was in the FedEX shipping. I complained, but was still expected to pay. That will be the last time for me.

These are the nicest and fairest people you can not only bring your repairs to, but for jewelry needs in general. I'd look here first for anything I might need for jewelry.

I took my necklace to get my cross put back on. It took about a week and when i went to get it, it seemed a little cheaply done. It was just crimped on with no solder or anything. I trusted the positive reviews and didn’t say anything. It lasted less than 24 hours, and I lost my cross. I don’t even care for a reimbursement but I won’t use them again.

Update: ONLY deal with Debbie the manager/ owner. She is very kind and understanding and knows how to run her business. Not sure of the other woman's name but she was rude. Debbie made it right when I picked it up for the second time. I would come back but only for her.I was very dissatisfied when I picked up my ring that my grandma gave me and I needed repaired. The woman I dealt with was really rude and didn't believe me when I told her what was supposed to be fixed when I picked it up. It was way over quoted price for repair and when I got it back I had to send it back again because the prongs weren't fixed all the way as I needed to be done in the first place.

Friendly staff, but didn't receive the work that was quoted. Ended paying for what was quoted though because I wanted my necklace. Necklace chain broke in half, they repaired that portion perfect satisfactory. But I identified 2 other areas of weakness along the chain and was given a price to have those areas soldered to help "beefen up" those weak spots as well. Those 2 other weak spots were not even touched. When questioned, the lady said they can't do it. $150 seems kinda pricey for one small soldered joint on a necklace.

I absolutely love and adore Bermuda Gold & Silver! They not only do amazing work but I also can trust them with my most precious family heirlooms such as this ring I was gifted from my great grandma from the 1950's. I will never take my jewels to any other jeweler. They are top notch and the best in Grapevine!
