I think everyone has been talking for many years about finding good automotive service and an honest mechanic. But very few people have found that. We did at Brown's Auto Center in Roanoke. Richard was professional, courteous, always communicating, and he did the work in a timely and cost-effective manner. From this day forward, we will only use him for our repairs, especially on our BMW. It is so nice to find an honest and dependable mechanic.

Glad to have found Brown’s Auto. Richard was very knowledgeable and courteous. Vehicle required towing, which Brown’s also assisted with. Repairs were completed quickly and I was kept updated throughout. It’s not easy to find a good mechanic that performs quality work, but Brown’s really came through!

Richard is a fantastic mechanic and runs a great shop. He makes sure the customers are aware of the various ways to fix the problem and tries to assist with finding affordable solutions. He is very friendly and makes the customers feel welcome and informed throughout the repair. He is quick with repairs and his prices are competitive with other shops. What stands out about Brown's Automotive Center you're dealing with the mechanic/owner and he is working with you to find solutions that fit your budget. I am repeat customer and plan on continuing to use him as our family mechanic.

Took my vintage van in for a thorough look over and was very well taken care of by Richard. He reviewed options to fix and easy solutions I can do on my own. He even gave me a ride to and from his shop. Very knowledgeable mechanic and trustworthy. I will definitely visit again.

Richard was very helpful and honest. He quickly understood the issue with my Sentra just from our phone conversation about the park shift problem. He ordered the part, fixed the car quickly, and didn’t charge for anything unnecessary. I’m really glad to have found such a trustworthy mechanic.
The best part was how Richard and his wife treated us like family. When we picked up the car, they took the time to show my 2-year-old daughter all the farm animals. She had such a great time, she didn’t want to leave! It’s rare to find great service and such kind people in one place.
