Worst car rental experience i ever had.. rented a Tesla when i received it the car had 54% charge drove it 37 miles went down to 35% went to charge it. The car never turned back on. Here is the kicker, when I called BUDGET roadside, they didn't even help me. We got disconnected no call back. I will never use this company again.

I have rented from this location several times over the years with no issues. I always book ahead. If they didn’t have the specific car I reserved I was placed in an upgraded vehicle. However, something has changed this year. Twice now the car I reserved is not available. What is the point of taking reservations if this location will not manage their fleet to ensure customers are accommodated? My car class was not available but when we asked about a different vehicle, imagine the employees telling us those cars were reserved! So my reservation and loyalty to Budget doesn’t get me a car that’s reserved? Poor management.

The reason why they are getting a five is because of Megan. Cause it is supposed to be for the experience at the location. I will tell future renters, always take pictures, every bump or ding, take pictures of paperwork or just save it. The reason is , I got a bill today for damages that were already on the car, i had proof to say the damage was already there, the paperwork and Megan helped me again but sending me back up receipt. Called Budget and they could not deny that I was right and it appears the problem was fixed. again thanks again Megan for you assistance.

I picked up a moving truck on Monday (4/28/2025)
. After packing everything up for my move to Arizona on Tuesday. It broke down at the gas station in Fort Worth because of a BAD FUEL PUMP ! If these truck are being EXPECTED for mechanical issues not dints and dings this would have been prevented.
On Wednesday I called the store like I was as told and the lady at the front desk was very rude ! She said, “once the truck leaves the property it’s roadside assistance issue”. The least she could have done was apologize. Their customer service sucks.
Roadside assistance did get me another truck and move my things on to the truck. The process was unprofessional as well. The new truck was a 2 hours late and my drive time was being pushed back again. I lost a lot of money using budget. I will be giving corporate a call. If you are driving long distance do not use Budget !

After a terrible experience at the DFW location, the gentleman here made sure that we were well taken care of, and made sure to stay as we rushed to the location to pickup our reservation. Vehicle was clean and maintained. Our reservation here was hundreds of dollars cheaper for a larger vehicle, than the DFW location.

The fraud they run is give you a car that has an engine problem that cant be easily fixed and when you turn in the car boom a subcharge for it

Stay away from this business. Worst experience ever with this Budget authorized location. I rented a mini van for 2 weeks. I picked this place because was 10 mins from home. I thought was very convenient. My experience with this business proved I made a bad decision. The car they gave me was dirty and smelly. I had to take it to a car wash when I picked it up. During the trip I got a flat tire, tried to change it and there was no spare tire in the car. Budget roadside assistance didn't authorize me to use my AAA for towing services. I had to be towed by their approved contractor. When I returned the car next day, a lady who identified herself as the owner of the Budget place was rude towards me, saying that was my fault for the flat tire and I had to pay for the tow, and that was not her problem that there was no spare tire in the car. She was disrespectful to me and my wife and told me that she didn't care that we were stranded for 5 hours in the middle of the interstate with 2 kids and pets. Later, when I received the receipt, I noticed that I was charged $200 for gas, when I filled up the tank minutes before returning the car, she didn't tell me that I was going to be charged for it, after she inspected it. She didn't in spite because I complained of her treatment.
This place has no consideration for their customers at all. They didn't deliver a clean car, for cost reasons anf they don't equip their cars with a spare tire, creating a severe safety issue. Firther, they didn't demonstrated any sympathy to the customer's predicament. If the car had a spare tire I would be able to take the car to a place to fix it. I had to be towed instead, and she thinks that is my fault. This place should not represent Budget/Avis, unless they support this type of behavior towards their customers.

Booked a rental car and showed up and they didn’t have it available for me. Then I had to Uber to the airport location to see if there is one available there, at an increased price and a long wait. Horrible service.

We have rented a van twice this year from Budget in Grapevine and both times we were taken care of by Meghan! She is the best, kindest and super helpful. This past time I messed up on my order and she took her time and did extra paperwork- making sure we got exactly what we wanted. She made the experience smooth and easy for me and my whole family. Thank you Meghan, we appreciate you! ☺️

When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, they had given my vehicle away and didn’t have anything except for a suburban which would cost me well over twice as much to rent. There are no other rentals available in the area, so I am now sitting waiting for a car to get home. I will not ever use this car rental place again.
