I've been dialyzing here since around 2004, I think. I started dialysis at Children's Dallas Hospital. Then, I went to Irving Dialysis Center, and I wasn't happy there (lots of corruption at the time), below safety standards, embezzlement, high infection rates, low safety scores from State Board of Health Dept., etc. And, THAT was after Fresineus bought it. When it was privately owned by by Dr. Walker, in the 1990s, it was a GREAT place: clean, safe, friendly environment. After he sold it, it was not long after DaVita clinics started to pop up. One of my favorite nurses applied to the brand-new one in Grapevine. So, I promptly followed.
