We have come to this location 3 separate times. There is one woman (with gorgeous nails) who is nice, however when she isn't working it takes 10 minutes to check out because no one is at the counter and I guess this DG only has one person on shift at a time. Not only that, but it's 8:15 and myself and three other people have walked up to the door to find out no one is there and they aren't open. We're within business hours.

This location is very unprofessional. I am here at 3:30 and there is a sign on the door that says they are short staffed and the store won’t be open until 4:15pm. When I saw them letting people in and out. There is always an issue here. When people are working they are never at the front to check you out. I have spent 30 minutes before waiting on someone to come and check me out. There is no number to call and make a complaint on the door. The number that’s listed online is always off of the hook. This is flat out unacceptable. Do better!

I understanding carding people who appear under the age of 27, but to card people who have wrinkles grey hair and are no where near 27 is stupid!!! Store is always a mess and you have to continually wait for a cashier or ring bell repeatedly. Not worth my effort anymore

The manager closes the store at random times without any explanation..It’s a Friday night at 6:45 , in DECEMBER ( the busiest time of the year) and this store is closed?? I mean, if you’re over working your staff!! Pay them more and higher more people or Change your damn hours but I drove all the way here and y’all are closed! I wish I got to make my own schedule !

This place sure has a lot of stuff. Much of it is a dollar but much of it isn’t a dollar. I guess you can get away with it if you have some stuff that’s a dollar. I’ve been to several of these stores across the country and would write this one about average.

I have enjoyed shopping Dollar General in Grapevine, TX. I gave up the last time when there were boxes everywhere. Boxes were in aisles all over the store.Some blocked the products on shelves. I left without buying anything. The employees were up front having a conversation when I walked in and when I left. Sorry to see this.

They run the store like they don’t want you in there. They also constantly price things incorrectly, which magically always rings up higher at the register. Is that legal?

Watch out for WALTER. He calls himself a manager. I didn't know that THIEFS could be hired to be a store manager. For STARTERS, he is a RUDE manager. He KNOWS you are waiting like a dummy at the cashier station, and he doesn't even acknowledge you, he won't even say something like, "I'll be right there". You can FEEL THE TENSION IN THE AIR. He doesn't like people. But it gets worse. He has on MULTIPLE occasions PURPOSELY left items out, (as in, DIDN'T PUT THEM IN THE CARRY OUT BAGS).. It's something I discovered after the fact. I normally don't save GROCERY receipts. So, one day, after shopping there, I had a craving for fruit. I THOUGHT I had bought some fruit cups. I looked in the fridge (after I put up the groceries) and I didn't see any fruit cups. I figured I might have decided to put it back on the store shelf, and forgot that I put it back, so I didn't think anything of it. This same experience happened on ANOTHER occasion. THEN, I started getting suspicious. I went shopping again, and THIS TIME, I DID save my receipt. When I got home, I cross reference my shopping receipt with the items in my bag, and Lo and Behold, THERE WERE ITEMS MISSING, This LAZY WORTHLESS EXCUSE FOR A HUMAN BEING 'PURPOSELY' left things out. All I can figure is he does this so he can RESELL the same item and pocket the money for himself, OR, just straight up takes it home. Whatever the case, HE IS A THIEF. I called up corporate office, but I NEVER got a live person. All I could do is leave a voicemail a couple of times, and included the receipt number (hoping that corporate office could look up the store surveillance footage and corresponding time on the receipt to see if they could see him doing this, but no one ever got back to me. VERY disappointing. GET THIS! I told a new friend of mine about my experience, and she was quick to ask, 'WAS IT THE STORE IN GRAPEVINE?" and I was surprised and asked her why she would think that, and she said that she was actually at the store, when A CUSTOMER was complaining about THE SAME THING to this worthless excuse for a human... So it is VERY APPARRANT that this thief has done this to more than just me. BE CAREFUL. WHEN YOU SHOP THERE, MAKE SURE YOU SEE E.V.E.R.Y. ITEM you paid for BAGGED. If necessary, DO A DOUBLE TAKE , AND MAKE SURE EVERY ITEM ON YOUR RECEIPT IS IN YOUR BAGS. One more thing. When I called the store to complain the next day, (after having experienced no phone answer at corporate office) the l**** had already left. I was REALLY irate and I told the person who answered the phone that I could go up there and get two items that were left out of my bags. When I got there, I had to release my anger verbally (but respectfully to the other employees) and I told them, in front of store customers, that their boss was a P.O.S. and that I had left a voicemail at corporate. These people gave me a look that suggested that their l***** thief of a so called 'leader' is not on their list of 'friends'. I could tell that no one likes working for this l***** I was so angry that I told them if the guy wants to take it outside I would be more than happy and stomp his (*&)() outside. If you are reading this and this has happened to you, make a comment, or reply, if that's an option. I want to get with people who have had this experience so we can get this l**** fired.

Walter the “manager” was extremely rude and disrespectful when speaking with me. He is incompetent and I won’t be back to this store.
